Afghan Refugees Land in South Korea While Deadly Terror Attack Unfolds in Kabul

Good news for these families that were able to escape Afghanistan to South Korea:

Afghan co-workers and their families board a C-130J plane of the South Korean Air Force at an airport in Kabul during an evacuation operation to bring to the South a total of 391 Afghans from the war-torn country, in this photo provided by the Air Force on Aug. 26, 2021.

A total of 378 Afghans arrived in South Korea on Thursday as part of Seoul’s efforts to evacuate local co-workers of the country’s embassy and other facilities in the war-torn nation after the Taliban’s seizure of power.

A KC-330 tanker transport aircraft carrying the evacuees landed at Incheon International Airport, west of Seoul, at 4:24 p.m., after departing from the Pakistani capital of Islamabad early in the morning, the foreign ministry said.

Of a total of 391 people to be airlifted, 378 were on board.

The 13 others left Islamabad at around 7 p.m. (Seoul time) aboard a separate military plane and was expected to arrive in Korea early afternoon on Friday, the ministry said.

A “complex attack” involving at least two explosions outside the airport in Kabul on Thursday killed 12 U.S. service members and injured at least fifteen others, the Pentagon said.

The attack also killed and wounded a number of Afghan civilians. An Afghan official told Associated Press that at least 60 Afghans were killed and 143 others were injured in the attack.

“Let me be clear, while we’re saddened by the loss of life both U.S. and Afghan [lives], we’re continuing to execute the mission,” Marine Gen. Kenneth F. McKenzie, Jr., commander, U.S. Central Command, said at a press briefing on Thursday.

Those deaths are on Biden’s head.

Here’s the thing.

Half a dozen advanced countries were able to evacuate hundreds, and even thousands of Afghans who worked for those countries – all except one country. JAPAN, which was able to rescue exactly 0 Afghans. Not that the Japanese self defence forces didn’t try. Instead it was their utter incompetence by their military, and their government. The Japanese media’s very loud obnoxious boasting that they will bring back all those Afghans didn’t help either, with the Talibans being tipped off of the impending arrival of Japanese military planes. If the US thinks that it could go to war with China in the Pacific with Japan as their allies backing the US up….. lol…. well good luck to them…. lol..

And this is not the only example of Japan’s failures. Japanese government’s COVID response – fail. The Summer Olympics – fail. The Japanese economy – fail. The recovery after natural disasters like Fukushima nuke melt down and recent floodings/landslides/earthquakes – all fail. The economic war with South Korea which Japan started over history – also completely fail.

When is the US going to realize that all that Japan is good for, milking their cash, backed by unlimited currency swap with the US and an overworked printing press?
Other than that, that country is absolutely useless due to their incompetence in everything, and the horrendously corrupt very poor leadership that still refuses to believe that the world has changed since the 1980’s when Japan was at its top of its height. Now Japan looks like a fading aging movie star who refuses to let go and face the truth that her best days are now over.

Biden’s team gave the Taliban a list of the Americans and Afghans they wanted rescued. Undoubtedly including photos and addesses.

Treating the Taliban as if they are effete European dilettantes.

No one needs any help knowing where that’s going to lead.

Korea man seems to be commenting in the wrong blog page. Must have gotten assignments mixed up from his CCP handlers.

If George Bush Jr didn’t start this foolish war on the Middle East, this would not have happened. After 20 years, thousands dead, and $2 trillion US dollars wasted, what’s the achievement? You might have killed Bin Laden, but thousands more like him have taken his place. It was the American Neocons that made this mess, and it should be the American Neocon fanatics who blindly supported this war that need to answer for this debacle. Now that the US vacates Afghanistan, let’s see how the ISIS regroup in Afghanistan and then start blowing up more American skyscrapers. You’re back to square one again. Brilliant, who could have predicted this, right?

Say what you will, but Korean Man is right. Every president from Bush on is to blame; the US had no business going over there and staying for 20+ years with no end game strategy in sight. What a waste of lives and money. And the clusterf@ck we’re seeing right now is just mind boggling.

Apparently you got zero, too.

Biden btoke Trump’s agreement with the Taliban and got 12 US heroes killed needlessly. And thousands of Americans stranded, surrounded by ISIS, and their names handed to the Taliban (along with the names of the thousands who helped us).

That doesn’t count how many Afghans have already been slaughtered.

If the current Administration had pulled everyone out by May 1 as agreed, the ceasefire would have held.

If they had moved everyone to Bagram before pulling out the troops, they would have had two runways instead of one. And now they’re scrambling to avoid Joey drooling himself at the fake pressers his handlers throw him into.

False equivalences are the new thing to defend P3do Joe. I get that. But this time it won’t work. This is worse than anything since Saigon ’75 and the rest of the world knows it. We’ll be fortunate to have any allies at all by Columbus Day. Even the UK won’t work with us after this.

Why don’t you and General Milley go have a woke LGBT session or five and explore your intersectionality together.

LOL, Japanese Defence Ministry blames South Korea for the Japan Defence Force in its failing to rescue 0 people in Afghanistan. Japan says South Korea’s selfish act of launching their rescue, caused the Talibans to get angry, and nullified Japan’s efforts. LOL. Nevermind… the fact that Japan had sent their transport planes a full 2 days ahead of South Korea, yet managed somehow to rescue exactly 1 Japanese national. South Korea took all their people out of Afghanistan, with no South Korean national left in the country, due to a highly coordinated and carefully carried out plan that started a full month before the collapse. However, Japan still has 500 people who are now imprisoned and are now held as captives because of their own incompetency. Now they are blaming South Korea instead of accepting their own responsibilities.
