They have a clever thing going.
This winter, they are going to release a flock of penguins on the beach. It should really bring in the winter tourists to hand-feed them.
They are talking about adding flamingos next summer when they bring back the palm trees.
If covid dies down, they are going to put a live orca into the water in winter 2022. They plan to affix a 100 meter anchored chain around its tail so it will be visible from shore at all times and won’t leave the area.
That is a small town with big dreams.
