Russia Evacuates Most Personnel from Their Embassy in North Korea

Russia has slowly been reducing the personnel in their embassy in South Korea to where now they are down to only two diplomats:

Russia has withdrawn most of its embassy staff in North Korea, a Seoul official said Thursday, as pandemic-driven shortages of everyday commodities and anti-virus restrictions have driven many foreign diplomats out of the impoverished country.

NK News, a media outlet on the North, reported earlier dozens of Russia’s embassy personnel left Pyongyang on Wednesday via train, leaving behind only two diplomats, including Ambassador Alexander Matsegora, and other technicians.

“Russia used to have a large embassy that could originally station around 100 people, but the government understands that most of them have left,” the official at the unification ministry told reporters on the customary condition of anonymity.

You can read more at the link, but I wonder if they had to use a hand pushed trolley to leave North Korea like the prior diplomats.

All available manpower will be needed for the western front.

The only delay is:

Russia: “You go first.”
China: “No, you go first.”

CH, what did you mean by “western front”? Belarus? Ukraine? Georgia? Estonia?

Russia and China are going to attack Ukraine and Taiwan at essentially the same time.

The Chinese will probably go first to take attention off their property collapse. Russia will take advantage of the disorder.

Hunter Biden’s most expensive picture will be bought by the Confucius Institute at a price that amazes even the most favorable critics.

The American military will offer a strong response by declaring a standdown for Black Transsexual Lives Matter Day which will give everyone time to get their booster.

The EU will debate if they should send a strongly worded letter and decide not to because the pipeline delivering Russian gas has an oddly moderating effect on their attitudes.

Hopefully someone drops something loud and bright on Taiwan’s semiconductor factories right as the Chinese army reaches the parking lot… but probably wishful optimism in the competence of anyone.

Covid will be forgotten.
