And in today’s episode of Amazed by Math…

Did you know 4 presidents have their birthday in February?

With 46 presidents and 12 months, we would only expect 3.83 presidents to have their birthday in February.

What an amazing math fact!

If we round that up to 4, we get extra theoretical presidents!

They might even be massless inelastic frictionless perfectly spherical presidents.

Tune in tomorrow to learn why nobody really expected a president to have a birthday on president’s day.

Anybody wonder why people are afraid of a disease with a 99.999etc survival rate if you are you are young, healthy, and thin?

CH, we already know that leftists are full of self-hate. And they want to show they are better than someone else. So they grasp at anything that comes along, especially things that make others as miserable as they feel.

As RA Heinlein wrote, “The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire. The former are idealists acting from highest motives for the greatest good of the greatest number. The latter are surly curmudgeons, suspicious and lacking in altruism. But they are more comfortable neighbors than the other sort.

CS Lewis wrote, “Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

And a fellow named Paul wrote, “Who are you to judge the servant of another? Before his own master he stands [approved] or falls [out of favor]. And he [who serves the Master—the Lord] will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.

Best to ignore the illegitimates… They don’t even follow their own laws…
