Here’s hoping Yoon doesn’t end up being yet another arrested conservative in the tradition of Park Geun-hye and Lee Myeong-bak. These things always start optimistically, with talk of national unity and blah-blah-blah, but the people usually end up souring on the guy (or gal) in office, liberal or conservative.

The DPK still has a parliamentary majority and will have it until the next parliamentary elections in 2024.
And knowing how Korean politics work. I give it a year before something comes up and the DPK brings up impeachment to a vote.
