Here’s hoping Yoon doesn’t end up being yet another arrested conservative in the tradition of Park Geun-hye and Lee Myeong-bak. These things always start optimistically, with talk of national unity and blah-blah-blah, but the people usually end up souring on the guy (or gal) in office, liberal or conservative.

Here’s hoping Yoon doesn’t end up being yet another arrested conservative in the tradition of Park Geun-hye and Lee Myeong-bak.
I wouldn’t keep my fingers crossed.
The DPK still has a parliamentary majority and will have it until the next parliamentary elections in 2024.
And knowing how Korean politics work. I give it a year before something comes up and the DPK brings up impeachment to a vote.
Yes, it’s ugly, childish, and tiring, but hey that’s politics here.

Pak was the victim of a judicial coup. Moon was a usurper and criminal.
Shows that, regardless of politics, he’s a man, not a petulant child.
US Politicians could learn from that.
Well, once we stop the cheating as well as South Korea has done.
