Korean companies and government agencies use shredding services for shredding documents.
If you go to a Korean office, there is a big box with a narrow slot, where you put documents you want shredded.
And once or twice a month, the shredding company truck will come and the truck driver and his assistant will collect the boxes, shred the documents on site, and put the boxes back.
The above doesn’t exactly look out of the ordinary, and considering that the defense ministry has to move out in a month or two, they probably are doing what other people do when they move, throw out unnecessary stuff and junk.

And for those who see conspiracies in every corner, it’s the Defense Ministry we are talking about.
You know, the ministry that is bending backwards to accomodate Pres-elect Yoon and which is mostly made up of conservative ex-generals and officers.

Take it easy Tok; you’re already offended when no one has said anything yet.
USAG Yongsan used to get a mass shredder about twice a year which could take up to a phone book at a single go. It was very efficient.
