President Yoon’s Wife Makes First Public Appearance in Many Months
She definitely took the advice many were offering that she keep an extreme low profile due to the various minor scandals that were surrounding her during the campaign. It looks like the Yoon administration will now slowly role here back out into the public eye:
First lady Kim Keon-hee made her first official appearance in public on Tuesday after keeping a low profile for months as she accompanied President Yoon Suk-yeol on a visit to the Seoul National Cemetery and then to his inauguration ceremony.
Kim first paid tribute to fallen patriots at the cemetery together with Yoon before moving to the National Assembly Plaza for the inauguration ceremony, where some 41,000 people gathered to witness the start of the new government.
It was the first time the couple has made a public appearance together since Yoon’s election in March.
After arriving at the National Assembly, Kim, dressed in white, walked behind Yoon, greeting well-wishers lining the path to the podium with fist bumps.

GIKorea isn’t that radical compared to the members of the Church of Setnaffarism™. However he does support KUKF™ and like setnaffa and his minions was waiting for five thirsty years for a right winger to take over the Presidency, so that his thirst for KUKF™ can be quenched.
Case in point, the “scandals” involving Yoon’s wife.
You see Yoon’s wife is alleged to have doctored employment certificates issued by three organizations when she submitted her resumes.
That and the allegations of stock price manipulations, which are all punishable crimes in Korea.
The allegations of doctored employment certificates is in the same league as the ones Cho Kuk’s wife was charged with, which led to a vigorous investigation by the Prosecution once led by her husband, and her jail time.
However while GIKorea railed against Cho Kuk and his wife, GIKorea looked the other way and is now sweeping the alleged crimes of Yoon’s wife under the rug, because we all know that he doesn’t want to criticize a right wing government which may be friendly to the idea of KUKF™.
Of course GIKorea may say that there was no investigation and no trial, as such she is innocent, but then he does not realize that her husband was once the great boss of all the prosecutors and is now President.
And anyone who knows how Korea works will know that in this society people think it is better to keep one’s head down rather than take on the boss’s wife, unless of course you have a great power backing you up.
