He, like even us dummies, know that Twitter is full of fake accounts… bots designed to show overwhelming support for the Latest Thing so all the dummies will thing they are following popular opinion.
You don’t really believe that many people support burning down small business or cutting the dìcks off of 5 year-olds just because you do.
Well, since Musk is going to take over Twitter and find out how many fakes there are, the bot armies are now getting quietly disassembled.
…except with those numbers, it isn’t quiet.
So now Musk is putting things on hold… as he is being sold a lemon. Besides, Twitter makes their money grifting advertisers and selling information to the government that they constitutionally can’t collect themselves.
In the end, Musk probably won’t even buy Twitter. He will just be a catalyst for their panicked self-destruction. Maybe he will buy the pieces for a lower price.
Meanwhile, Trump is on Truth Social… which would probably take off if it could get its shìt together.
