Picture of the Day: Korean War Reception
|
Ambassadors and military attaches of 16 nations that fought for South Korea during the 1950-53 Korean War pose for a photo during a reception hosted by the South Korean Embassy in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan, on June 9, 2022, on the occasion of the conflict’s 72nd anniversary. (Yonhap)
This is funny as some in the media are calling Kazakhstan a terrible place and others are saying it can serve as a role-model for the Norks.
I’m always happy to see shiny happy people.
BTW, what part, if any, did Kazakhstan play in the Korean War? I know life was rough for Koreans in the old USSR.
