Abe was the first world leader to meet with President Trump after his 2016 election and the two had a warm relationship. Trump posted on Truth Social early Friday morning:

“Absolutely devastating news that former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe of Japan, a truly great man and leader, has been shot, and is in very serious condition. He was a true friend of mine and, much more importantly,

America. This is a tremendous blow to the wonderful people of Japan, who loved and admired him so much. We are all praying for Shinzo and his beautiful family!” . . .

. . . [So-called quote-unquote “president”] Biden has apparently not yet been roused from his slumber to comment on the situation. No doubt his staff is scrambling to figure out a way to blame Trump for the shooting. . .

. . . The former PM has been a critic of China in recent years and has angered the government there. In November he declared that the U.S. and Japan should defend Taiwan from Chinese aggression: “A Taiwan emergency is a Japanese emergency, and therefore an emergency for the Japan-U.S. alliance. People in Beijing, President Xi Jinping in particular, should never have a misunderstanding in recognising this,” he said. In an April op-ed, he blasted [so-called quote-unquote “president”] Joe Biden for his ambiguous policy toward Taiwan, criticizing “America’s unwillingness to say explicitly that it will ‘defend Taiwan’ should it be attacked.”

Joe Biden’s speechwriter is certainly well-educated on nothing. https://twitter.com/townhallcom/status/1545445196221087744

The May 15 Incident (五・一五事件, Goichigo Jiken) was an attempted coup d’état in the Empire of Japan, on May 15, 1932, launched by reactionary elements of the Imperial Japanese Navy, aided by cadets in the Imperial Japanese Army and civilian remnants of the ultranationalist League of Blood (Ketsumei-dan). Prime Minister Inukai Tsuyoshi was assassinated by 11 young naval officers. The following trial and popular support of the Japanese population led to extremely light sentences for the assassins, strengthening the rising power of Japanese militarism and weakening democracy and the rule of law in the Empire of Japan.

Anyone with experience want to educate me on whether is a great idea? Compare and contrast vs. Stryker “Dragoon”?

CCP fingerprints all over this.

And how would the death of former PM Abe be beneficial to the CCP?

Pretty much the entire LDP and the Japanese government are anti-PRC.

So how would Abe’s death change things?

Abe was an unfortunate victim of a mentally deranged person and poor security.

And Abe’s death shouldn’t be used by setnaffa to advance his conspiracy theories.

Let’s leave him and his grieving wife in peace.

From today’s Wapo [referring to the BA.5 variant]:

“the worst version of the virus that we’ve seen.”

“There is widespread agreement among infectious-disease experts that this remains a dangerous virus that causes illnesses of unpredictable severity…”

“the country is not doing enough to limit transmission.”

“Officials have warned of a possible fall or winter wave”

“there could be economic disruptions as tens of millions of people become too sick to work.”

“Vaccination remains an important, if still underused, weapon against the virus”

https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/2022/07/10/omicron-variant-ba5-covid-reinfection/

And so it begins.

Are people really so stupid they’re going to fall for all of this? Again?

Sidenote about The Washington Post:
If you want to click on this or any article pitching vaccines, it’s free. Wapo calls it a “public service”.
But try going to any other article, and you have to pay.
Golly! A public service; isn’t that nice of the post? Some people would call that God’s work.

“4th dose of current vaccine unlikely to prevent BA.5 wave: experts”

The Korea Times

https://m.koreatimes.co.kr/pages/article.asp?newsIdx=332532

The truth that once could not be said is now right there in the headlines.

Takeaways:

– yet another alpha-targeting booster will do little-to-nothing against omicron BA.5

This is a truth that is now being allowed into common cultural knowledge. It will be followed by “we never said the booster would protect you from omicron”.

None of the vaxtards remember when just two shots of vaccine with 98.4% effectiveness was going to solve all our problems.

(98.4% effective + breakout infections are exceedingly rare “they never said you wouldn’t catch covid”)

– covid has no effect on healthy people under 50… so there is no point in giving them a booster that doesn’t protect them from something that is not dangerous. Vaccine adverse effects are more common than severe covid. This information was available for over a year but anyone who spoke about it was branded a science deniers. It is now being accepted with no question.

– politically impossible to restart all the business restrictions… so maybe no insanity for a while

– the low number of cases has been because all the testing centers were shut down in april… actual cases were some number higher

Half-truths:

– testing and isolation is the new solution… but it only kinda blocks one route of covid transmission and it puts evolutionary pressure to fill other routes… and it encourages more strains to develop… good job government

Lies:

– “BA.5 evades natural immunity.” We don’t know that. We do know natural immunity protected against the previous omicron strain quite well while the vaccine was single digit. Science and past performance say natural immunity will do much better than the vaccine or booster. Maybe very well. Let’s talk facts in November.

– “We should administer updated vaccine shots specifically targeting the BA.4 and BA.5 variants” This is a dirty lie and every expert knows this. Short of a big technological breakthrough, a BA.4/5 specific booster will only prompt those vaccinated against alpha to produce more alpha antibodies.

Bonus:

– the curve of the current wave is EXACTLY matching the previous wave. To verify this, see if there are ~57000 cases per day on July 25. More or fewer will give a clue where this wave is going.

“there could be economic disruptions as tens of millions of people become too sick to work.”

So the answer is, instead of a couple weeks of tens of millions of people (maybe) too sick to work…

…let’s make a fake vaccine that let’s tens of millions of people being too sick to work over and over so they spawn more variants.

Good job, government.

I’m curious what will happen in Sri Lanka with those Chinese owned ports now that the government that made the deal with them no longer exists.
