PPP Chairman’s Text Conversation with President Yoon Caught on Camera

This was pretty dumb, you would think these politicians would know better than to have their phones out with cameras around:

The acting chairman of the ruling People Power Party (PPP) has apologized after a text conversation he had with President Yoon Suk-yeol was caught on camera, in which Yoon was seen backbiting about suspended party chief Lee Jun-seok.

PPP floor leader Kweon Seong-dong took over as acting leader of the party early this month after the party’s ethics committee suspended Lee’s party membership for six months over allegations of sexual bribery and a cover-up.

On Tuesday, Kweon was caught on press cameras writing a text message to Yoon on his mobile phone. The screen also showed earlier messages from Yoon saying he was happy with the change in the party’s leadership and took a swipe at Lee.

“Our party is doing a good job. We should keep this up,” Yoon wrote in the messages sent via Telegram. “Since the replacement of the party chair who used to shoot upon ourselves, our party has become different.”

Yoon was seen criticizing Lee for focusing on an internal fight rather than attacking the opposition party.

Kweon said in response, “We will uphold your wish, and show unity between the party and the government.”

Mean girlz journalists…

Does anyone seriously doubt this normal behavior goes on in no other political parties or corporate offices or just families?

Yonhap needs to kick their game up a coulle notches.

Awwww….

setnaffa is hurt that the media is exposing his vaunted PPP politicians as childish jokers who don’t know what they are doing and would certainly lose the next elections ushering in a liberal government.

Eavesdropping of this nature should be illegal. Whoever took this photo and whoever published it should, at a minimum, be prosecuted under Korea’s defamation laws.

Hot Stuff,

It’s not eavesdropping if you are showing your phone’s screen for all to see.

And what is this guy doing conspiring against the Party Chairman during a National Assembly session?

Korea Person is right. If something is in public where anyone can see, it is fair game to be photographed and distributed.

Koreans know this is the way things are done.

Instead of saying ridiculous stuff like “illegal” and “punished”, just accept that you are wrong and this is right.

When in Rome, do as the Romans.

I don’t fight it. I take advantage of it. Hang on and I will prove it with photographic evidence.

You will be amazed how hot Korean middle school girls are when they are going in and out of a public restroom in those little uniforms. Sometime I can only hold the camera with one hand, if ya know what I mean.

As a representative of Korea, it comforts me that Korea Person is in total agreement with this.

Question: It is a “public” restroom, so is a pìsscam OK? If not, what about one looking down into the stall? I really don’t know the Korean laws on water rights and airspace.
