I’d love to walk the lake’s perimeter, but I just checked, and there’s no formal path around the entire lake (which is big—around 60 km in length along the main part). Alas!
There’s a much smaller lake called Hwajinpo, though, that I’ll be doing later this year. It’s just inland from the east coast. <a href=”https://kevinswalk5.blogspot.com/2021/09/day-1-leg-1.html”>I passed by it during last year’s walk.</a> It’s got a walkable perimeter of about 12 km; I’d probably walk it twice to get in a good day’s trek.
Korea is a beautiful country and is populated by mostly beautiful people who have been misinformed by a lot of their politicians
