Taiwanese Official Says Pelosi Will Make Visit to Taiwan
This is making me wonder if Pelosi was going to land in Taiwan in secret and this official just blew her cover:
US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is expected to visit Taiwan as part of her tour of Asia,according to a senior Taiwanese government official and a US official, despite warnings from Biden administration officials, who are worried about China’s response to such a high-profile visit.
The stop — the first for a US House speaker in 25 years — is not currently on Pelosi’s public itinerary and comes at a time when US-China relations are already at a low point.
The Taiwanese official added that she is expected to stay in Taiwan overnight. It is unclear when exactly Pelosi will land in Taipei.

She isn’t there yet. And she may be equally popular in Taiwan as in “MAGA Country”.
This is world class trolling.
China is squirming and everyone thinks it is glorious.
Pelosi has to fly right by Taiwan in perfectly legitimate airspace on her way from SE Asian to NE Asia.
If she goes back to the Philippines and then to NE Asia, then you know deescalation is the plan.
But if she flys by Taiwan, trolling is the plan.
And when that engine trouble calls for an emergency landing, what can the Chinese do?
Lots of civilian flights canceled in the area.
Ships are repurposed.
Much movement and radio chatter.
People and equipment are on the move.
Hmmm.
It is just an excercise…
…but it sure feels like eastern Ukraine in February.
What would happen if China attacked Taiwan?
It might solve the global glut of unrecorded sound media.
You also might not upgrade your graphics card this year.
Any your 2027 Ford will have sat in a field for half a decade with no guts in the dashboard.
This will not be good.
Unless you see that coming and prepared.
