You accuse me of being a “Beijing bot”, then a member of the “Tencent Army” and now a person with “three to five different pen names”.
Make up your mind already!!
Or are you yourself flailing and deflecting as you once accused me of doing?

LOL Korean Man.
On a more serious note.
During the presidential elections it was an open secret that many of the right wing members of the ROK Drop were rooting for Yoon hoping he will bring more joint exercises, a second THAAD battery, and a much more “improved” alliance.
Well they got the exercises, but the second THAAD battery is now a pipe dream and an “improved” alliance, well…
It is a fact that out of all the Asian countries that Pelosi visited, she managed to meet the Head of State or government with the exception of Korea.
Some might say he is on vacation. Ok. But he is vacationing in his apartment in Gangnam!
It is curious that he could find the time to go and see a play with his wife and have a drink afterwards in his capacity as a President encouraging those who work in theater, on the day of Pelosi’s visit, but couldn’t find the time to meet with a person who is the third highest ranking person in the US.
Well so much for an “improved “ alliance.

As KP said, for an alliance that is supposed to get stronger under Yoon, it doesn’t look good if you consider that the Japanese PM Kishida met Pelosi for breakfast.
If Yoon, like Moon, was vacationing in Jeju well yes it would have been tricky to pull off a face-to-face and a phone call would have sufficed.
But he was in his apartment in Gangnam, at least thirty minutes away from any face to face venue, with nothing to do and he couldn’t spare a few hours to meet with the third highest US elected official, despite his talk about making the KORUS alliance stronger?
The optics here is that when it comes to the alliance, Yoon talks the talk but doesn’t walk the walk while Kishida and the LDP seems to be good at doing both.
TOK, you do know the difference between the Executive and Legislative branches of the US Government, right?
You do know diplomacy is under the Executive branch, don’t you?
If not, perhaps read the US Constitution before beclowning yourself further.
You could even look up these functions on Wikipedia.

setnaffa,
A question.
If Pelosi wasn’t an important person not worth Pres. Yoon’s time than why did the President and Prime Minister of Singapore(two different persons), the Prime Minister of Malaysia, the President of Taiwan, and the Prime Minister of Japan all meet with her during her trip?
Out of those countries, Singapore and Japan are ruled by conservative governments and are strong US allies.
Me thinks it’s you who is beclowning himself.

You’ve just proved that setnaffa is a fool, he knows it, and is lashing out.
Maybe as KM has always mentioned, his brain isn’t working on all cylinders.

President Yoon can snub Pelsoi, rightfully a member of the legislative rather than executive branch, and it will bring delight to China.
Why irritate China over someone as meaningless as Pelosi?
Now it makes it slightly more difficult for China to criticize joint USFK exercises and other actually meaningful actions within the alliance.
It also doesn’t give an excuse for China to tinker with economic relations.
President Yoon did the right thing in this case. Pelosi is not a consideration or part of this equation.

Ah yes.
A blind defense of Yoon.
The Church of Setnaffarism™ is certainly getting desperate.
They know Yoon will help bring down the conservatives and usher in a leftist government that will threaten KUKF™.
So, to keep their precious joint exercises and USFK personnel and assets in Korea as is, no doubt they will rally around Yoon, in the hope that KUKF™ is assured.

So setnaffa, you were saying you weren’t a paid agent of China?
In an interview with Voice of America (VOA), which was reported on the 6th (local time), Michelle Rees, who served as the Director of Policy Planning at the State Department during the George W. Bush administration, said, “I am very concerned that [Chairman Pelosi] could not meet the Korean leader. I think he made a mistake.” “If it was a plan to appease China, it would not be successful,” he said.
If you have a major conservative newspaper quoting someone who worked for George W Bush saying that Yoon made a mistake then of course some conservatives in Korea are not agreeing with what Yoon did.
And to top it off, it seems that setnaffa thinks Yoon made the right move because it appeased China.
Of course he’s being paid by the Chinese, so no doubt it is in his interest to see Yoon not meet Pelosi.
That’s really showing her as much courtesy as the old hag deserves.
@setnaffa
As a paid agent of China and Russia, I do not think it is in your interest to see Pres. Yoon meet face to face with Speaker Pelosi.
Well, it’s nice of you to admit your employment status. I just assumed it was only the Chinese paying for your road apples.
@setnaffa
Nice to see that you haven’t changed and not admitting to your treason despite this

You write stuff under at least three and maybe five pen names. Don’t be such a running dog.
