Damn global warming….

“Winter” was 15 days early last year.

It was 24 days early this year.

Someone complained about the cold.

Me… innocently: “I guess that ends the global warming theory.”

“Oh no,” said the Warmer with wide eyes. “The early cold proves climate change is a problem.”

I don’t talk to people this dumb. You can’t have a rational discussion with irrational people.

While emotion is a powerful tool to manipulate the subhuman mind, it is unable to manage facts into a framework that supports a reasonable opinion no matter how hard you spoonfeed the facts.

I could say, “So after 30 years of alarmism and five year tipping points, why are all the expensive houses still in the same place on beaches around the world? Why has no country been lost to sea level rise? Why are the people pushing all this still buying seaside mansions? And how have the Dutch managed so well with 500 year old technology? In fact, what is one negative thing that has happened which you can blame on global warming?”

Nothing. They won’t even discuss it.

So now, if someone brings up climate change, I just tell them it is not a problem for me because I am vaccinated.

They get a stupid look.

You can’t have a rational discussion with irrational people.

The only way to beat the crazy is with crazier crazy.
