Poll Shows that Many Koreans Will Still Wear Mask Even If Mandate is Repealed

Many Koreans regardless of government regulations are not going to be taking their masks off anytime soon:

Many Koreans aren’t ready to take off their masks indoors.

According to a survey by polling institution Real Research Korea from Dec. 5 to 9, 44.3 percent of the 3,800 people surveyed said they would “keep their masks on” no matter what.

Korea is the only OECD member nation still requiring masks be worn in all indoor spaces, a regulation it has kept since October 2020.

You can read more at the link, but you can walk around Seoul and even outdoors the majority of people are masked up. Even people jogging in the park are masked up. However, you can go into a packed restaurant with everyone eating with their masks off. It is probably going to be quite a while before people get socially reverted back to not wearing masks.

I was recently at a function including a few Korean ministers of this and that.

I was the only person not wearing a mask.

I talked to everyone shamelessly.

Nobody said anything.

I saw Avatar 2.

I may have been the only person with no mask.

Nobody said anything.

It is wise of them… unless they can fap to jovial passive aggression with a side of noncompliance.

Masks have been dead for months. They are completely dead now.

Let’s see how long that lasts.

For those of you who care about covid, there are 4 new strains in the pipeline. They are quite resistant to vaccines and boosters. They might even be resistant to past immunity to some extent.

We will see if the superstitious cling to their talismans.

As to viruses that are “now” cure-resistant, washing hands frequently and keeping hydrated properly is more useful than anything from WHO or CDC. Just try to avoid using an infected person’s body emissions to hydrate yourself.

I’m walking into more and more restaurants and business where the workers are not wearing masks and it’s great. I was at another one last weekend where everyone had a mask on but 1/2 of the Koreans getting up to go to the self-serve kimchi bar didn’t bother to mask up and 2/3rd going for a smoke didn’t either. No one said a word; things are looking up..

Until Korea has sneeze guards over their self service, I don’t mind everyone wearing a mask.

That is the only place I pull my crumpled grody emergency mask out of some pocket and put it on for 2 minutes.

My general disrespect for masks and rhe people who worship them is based fact rather than ideology… and a broken clock can be right twice a day¹.

¹unless it is a digital clock which potentially can be right only at the event horizon of a black hole.

So our Slav Drago is back.

Considering that setnaffa is mobilizing all of his Setnaffarian sockpuppets, It seems that he is getting desperate.

Not surprising since he is losing battle after battle during his attempts to push fake news and conspiracy theories.

You wanna talk smack to a Slav name Drago?

You have bigger balls than me.

Drago means sweet or precious or glad in some of those Slavic languages.

Keep it up and he might love you to death.

The government has officially stated they will remove the mask mandate at an unstated time after unstated conditions are met and it could be reinstatement if the unstated condition changes to another unstated condition.

So basically, fùck you because our political enemies will use any misstep against us.

I was in a big box store yesterday and didnt wear a mask. Nobody said anything. One woman looked like she might but i gave her a big smile and she deflated a bit and found something else to do.

Like all things, this mask stupidity is over when WE say it is over and not when politicians and bureaucrats with agendas far from our comfort, prosperity, or safety say it is over.

But most people are mindless compliers and bootlickers and scaredy cats and cucks and tards. They deserve to wear the masks and live in the pods and eat the bugs and be broke for the rest of their lives.

Not really my style… but fine, I guess, for anyone that wants it.

Just as long as they don’t push their complacency, laziness, stupidity, ignorance, superstition, and petty tyranny off on me.
