“Putin’s BRUTAL war in Ukraine” is the first clue that we are dealing with some kind of propaganda pushing a narrative rather than objective reality.

– all war is brutal

– russia has sacrificed land, men, resources, and time to make this war less brutal for civilians and even the Ukranian military… though that is changing as the war drags on and Russia finds itself fighting NATO.

The next clue is any suggest that Russia will probably lose.

While the I Stand with the Thing crowd may actually believe it and the No, Of Course America Isn’t Throwing Good Money After Bad propagandists say it with a straight face, nobody can really come up with a scenario where Russia loses.

Part of this is because nobody knows Russia’s real goals… which they have openly stated and conducted a war in complete accordance of. But nobody listens. Anybody here think Russia wants to occupy Ukraine or capture everything between Moscow and Lisbon?

(But in fairness, Hitler said exactly what he was going to do long before WWII… and nobody listened then either.)

The big losers here are Ukraine and the EU (which may not survive).

The winners are the American defense industry, multinational corporations, international bankers, and Russia.
