Ex-president’s grandson visits Gwangju
Chun Woo-won, a grandson of the late former South Korean President Chun Doo-hwan, arrives at a hotel in the southwestern city of Gwangju on March 30, 2023, to offer an apology to the victims of a 1980 pro-democracy uprising in the city. The 27-year-old was released from the Mapo Police Station in Seoul the previous day after being detained for investigation over suspected illegal drug use upon his arrival at Incheon International Airport, west of Seoul, on March 28. Chun Woo-won has referred to his grandfather as “a slaughterer” due to the military’s brutal suppression of the Gwangju uprising after he seized power through a coup in 1979. (Yonhap)

A big blow to the Conservative party and their backers including the ROKDROP who claim Gwangju was a commie uprising that was rightfully put down.

The druggie said something bad about a dictator and scored a big blow on the conservatives!

Next up, a pròstitute will comment on imported rice.

Full Disclosure: I don’t really have an opinion about the Kwangju situation. As a rule, people should rise up against police states and governments looking out for their people should kill communists.

How very Maoist of him to apologize for something he never did, that happened before he was born.

Of course, the real reason for yhe apology is to gain social credits, also Maoist.

He should be laughed out of town. Along with all his Norkistani and Beijing camp-followers.

How come Korean Person and all the others can’t respond to being asked if he’s from Jeolla Do. Constant denials of being a Chinese shill, but complete silence on a simple question. Maybe I should really be asking if he eats fermented skate… not that there’s anything wrong with it…

Some say I should get with the times and stop calling Jeolla-Do communist… funny how KTCU even today is dominated by Jeolla-Do communist. Funny how nearly all those Pro NK lawyers seem to be from Jeolla-Do. Etc etc. Purely coincidental I’m sure. It’s not like Jeolla-Do has a history of proto socialist egalitarian peasant revolts dating back to the 3 kingdoms or anything.
