Picture of the Day: Observing Training
|
This photo, released by South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), shows JCS Chairman Gen. Kim Seung-kyum (2nd from R, sitting) and Gen. Paul LaCamera (R), the commander of U.S. Forces Korea, inspecting the South Korean and U.S. Marines’ Ssangyong amphibious landing exercise in Pohang, 272 kilometers southeast of Seoul, on March 29, 2023, (PHOTO NOT FOR SALE) (Yonhap)
I have my doubts about this exercise. No one appears to be wearing their reflective belt.
(Yes. That’s a joke at a former CO’s expense.)
“PICTURE OF THE DAY: OBSERVING TRAINING”
It went better than we expected.
By the end of the day, everyone felt confident they were qualified to observe.
While it isn’t part of the curriculum, we felt manspreading was a person touch that really showed initiative. It is a sign of a born observer. You can’t teach that.
We were also happy to see both the LGBQT+ community and Prince fans represented by the raspberry beret.
I am proud to announce 100% graduation rate to Delegation and Supervision Training.
Frumpy’s blouse and trousers look two sizes too big. Not to mention white boy should be sitting out in the sun like that; melanoma, ya know
I hope that isn’t an American female officer standing in the background with no headgear and her hands in her pocket.
