The US Army Rangers and other men of the UN Forces were amazing.
They sacrificed themselves to bring freedom to people they had never met.

And to clarify, in this case the Rangers and 1 Cavalry were unable to take the dam because of a lack of fire support an zero air support. When the skies cleared, they sent in Navy torpedo bombers to finish the job.
This takes away nothing from the Rangers; but the story made me think the MG had too much on his plate at the time.
