Even the FOX News of Korea, the Chosun Ilbo who mostly parrots Right-wing government positions, is criticizing Yoon’s nuclear deal with Washington, giving up South Korea’s right to protect itself, for nothing in return.
Here’s a fascinating story of how Yoon, who was a rising conservative prosecutor star hired to prosecute Park Geun Hye, abused his prosecuting power to harass and harangue key political leaders with criminal charges, hijacked the Conservative Party, and became the president.
If one believes the Bible to be true, God is only, always, and continually good.
If He really is the Sovereign of all, then things only happen according to His plan.
Thus, even things we don’t like, things that go against our plans, hopes, desires, or even sense of right and wrong are caused or allowed by God.
So they’re good. If we are His.
Even if we don’t understand.
Yes, folks who follow the father of lies will try to mock this. However, we can only truly become His by faith.
And if we’re handed everything, of what use is faith? And how would we exercise it?
Isaiah 55:8-11, Romans 10:17, Ephesians 2:8-9, 2 Corinthians 4:7-18, and Hebrews 11:1 are verses that might help. Be sure to read the surrounding verses to see the context.
And if you’re not His, may I recommend Romans 6:23? And that you quit before “payday”?

Adding to KM’s second post, when Yoon’s name came up for the Supreme Prosecutor position, some in the DPK and Moon’s inner circle advised Moon against naming Yoon for that position.
Moon ignored them and the rest is history.
This has led to a theory going around some Koreans here that Yoon is part of Moon’s grand plan to destroy the PPP and make the conservatives too weak and divided to be a viable opposition to the DPK.

Sometimes, our blessings from God cover up the things we want to complain about. And we have to work hard to be as unhappy as we become…

Korean citizens explode in anger at Yoon’s sucking up to the US president at his white house, as the US blocks South Korea’s nuclear plant export to Poland. One Korean netizen wrote which pretty much sums up everything:
“Nuclear power plants, semiconductors, automobiles there is nothing Korea is allowed to do. As a supposed US ally, we can’t even export nuclear power plants. We are in big trouble. Did Yoon also sign away the right to develop and sell nuclear plants too? The country is in a complete utter mess, what kind of diplomacy is this? It’s deplorable”.
It’s interesting that Westinghouse claims (in the article) that South Korea’s nuclear technology is a failure and that Poland will never be able to build the plants, without Westinghouse’s help. But looking back at their claims, even they know that’s blatantly not true. South Korea successfully built UAE plants, as opposed to Westinghouse’s track record where they have shown nothing but failures after failures in the last 30 years. Since both Westinghouse and Korea won the nuclear plant contracts in Poland, the US wants to eat the whole pie for themselves. It would be really interesting to see what will happen if both Korea and US build the nuclear plants in Poland. What will happen when the Koreans deliver their product on time, under budget – as usual, while the US’s Westinghouse struggle with cost overruns and delays? So I am guessing this is why it’s in the interest of the US to not let the Koreans compete with the US in Poland.

He shouldn’t have gone to the US just to get drunk and sing a song. He should have instead focus on resolving these economic issues. Why did he drag 120 top businessmen there? What the hell did he accomplish?
