All of my relatives in the Pacific theater who were preparing for an invasion of mainland Japan got on boats and went back to America and had babies.

Bomb, baby, bomb!

The end.

Sometimes the past is best buried. Forgive and forget. A nation cannot survive if the dominant political myths are one of guilt. That creates a politic of suicidal nation wrecking. One that the West has been all to familiar with. Understandably, the Japanese wish to not dwell on WW2.

Look, if I walk up to someone twice my size and kick them in the tailfeathers, I really can’t complain if they decide to break my leg so I stop kicking people. Or even both legs, both arms, and my nose to boot.

Leftists love to dwell on the two atomic bombs that caused the Japanese Emperor to wake up out of his heroic myth daydreams. Japan now is far more powerful than in 1941. They leave out what happened on Tarawa, Roi, Peleliu, Iwo Jima, and Okinawa. They ignore that the Jpanese had 4500 aircraft ready to be “kamikaze” planes (only 1500 had been used previously). They leave out plans to use up to 8 Million women and children with bamboo spears and IEDs in front of the remaining soldiers.

South Koreans who worry about Japan’s apology are likewise deluded by leftist propaganda. And they are absolute ingrates for ignoring the help Japan, still reeling after WW2, provided to South Korea during and after the Korean War. Shame on you if you’re so selfish and ignorant.

Folks across Eastern Asia who waste oxygen mewling about “The Bomb” should just STFU and be thankful we ended the war with a Japan that could be rebuilt. And as for “civilian deaths”, who do you suppose was making the weapons the Japanese Military used to fight? There are no “civilians” in war anymore. That quaint notion ignores at least 4,500 years of human history.

Move on, already…

Also, there is a lot of misinformation in the movie. It’s a propaganda piece.

Are they really? Ruled from DC via State Department and the sacred halls of Harvard, they have lost their independence much in the same way Germans no longer decide their own fate. They’ve swallowed nearly every egalitarian lie America pushes onto them and their resultant lack of fertility means their eventual extinction. They are certainly richer than in 1941, but wealth is not always the same as power.
