Epicness!

In the meanwhile, US is stuck with Boeing T-7 trainer jets, after the US government gave the nod to Boeing in 2018, over the competing South Korea / Lockheed Martin consortium that was offering the South Korean-made T-50 trainer jets.

The 2018 decision now looks like a terrible mistake, with Boeing unable to produce the jet due to serious design flaws.

And not too long ago, people in this forum here were blasting the Korean government for trying to nurture the Korean defense industry, instead of just outright buying from the US.

If those were real black eagles, they’d be strapped.

Korean Man,

When Boeing won a spate of defense contracts during that period including the T-7, they did it by underbidding their competitors.

Of course the Pentagon thought they got a great deal, but at the end of the day none of those weapon systems have been fully deployed and are still in the testing stages or LRIP.

Not sure Boeing beats Lockheed for cost overruns or scheduling hold ups. They’re pretty well matched in that.
Ever wonder why it takes an entire year to put up a new gate at a military installation? Similar reason. Big companies have experts writing contracts to their benefit. On the other side, you have staff people who read it and approve it without fully understanding what they are looking at. A couple of years later, those folks who have learned what not to do move on and a new inexperienced group takes their place.

So I told a racist (or more likely culturalist) joke and our resident scolds said nothing.

This increases my suspicions that they aren’t really interested in racism nor do they think anybody is really racist.

It is just the only tool society has given them to respond in arguments that cannot be won through reason.

Let’s try again.

Obviously, they are black eagles. The photo clearly shows they can’t pass a nice building without spray painting it.

You didn’t attack any Asians.

If you don’t attack any Asians here, the Asians here will leave you alone.

Can’t get more simpler than that.

Despite all the accusations of racism, you aren’t really standing agaist racism.

You are just standing up for… your race.

…not even your nationality… but actually your race.

That sounds kinda… well… textbook racist.

I am trying to see how this is different from..

“If the coloreds and the Jews stay outa my neighborhood, I won’t be burning any crosses or drawing any swastikas.

Can’t get more simpler than that.”

Dear Comrade Chekenhedof,

Do you relish being branded as a racist?

I think you do.

Maybe it’s your way of showing to us you are a racist while not admitting to being a racist?

Stop attacking white people, you racist.

Dear ChickenHead,

I don’t know about that. Spray painting buildings is mostly a White Antifa/White Eco-terrorist thing nowadays. Our darker skinned brethren seems more interested in looting. Particularly from gas stations. ‘Ain’t nobody got no money for Hennessy’ so to speak. Confusing wording I know, and I may have gotten it wrong, but I don’t speak Ebonics.

Dear Korean Person,

How would you feel about a million Muslim African men from Somalia being granted citizenship in South Korea? I await your answer with bated breath.
