Ukraine is Finding that Captured North Korean Artillery Rounds are Not Very Accurate
Hopefully the Russians got a cheap price for these North Korean artillery rounds which are apparently not very reliable:
While North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has supported Russian President Vladimir Putin’s war effort, weapons produced in his country have apparently been turned against Russian forces.
The Financial Times reported Friday that Ukraine has been launching unpredictable, North Korean-made rockets at Russian troops. Ukrainian soldiers manning multiple-launch rocket systems near Bakhmut showed the weapons to the outlet.
A Ukrainian artillery commander told FT his troops don’t like using the weapons, which were made in the 1980s and ’90s, because they can often misfire or fail to explode. One soldier said, “They are very unreliable and do crazy things sometimes.”

When you’re targeting entire grid squares at saturation level and collateral damage is not an issue for you, does it really matter.

Anyone want to bet Ukraine has NK rounds left over from the Soviet days while Russia has secured modern production with modern specificstions overseen by Russian production supervisors.
Russia is producing their own artillery but have now got additional long-term capacity.
It appears Russia is using about 10 times the artillary Ukraine is using. Count the number of craters in land occupied by each force. This could be a misconception. It is unclear.
Ukraine winning is nobody’s goal. It is not even Ukraine’s. Certainly they know they cannot “win” with their current actions.
They can’t even fight their way to Russia’s first line of real defense.
Zelensky is play his role and reading his lines to weaken the country until Russia can easily roll west, Poland can roll east, and BlackRock can take over the center. This will create a non-NATO corporate neutral ground that will satisfy Russia (as much as possible).
Depending on the level of success, the next area of corporate takeover will be found.
