Some YouTuber who makes great travel videos stayed at The Conrad on Yoido and it looks like it might be worth $800/night. But I prefer the Shilla (when my company foots the bill).

Thing is, South Korea is already so nice compared to most countries, there’s really no need to spend so much. The little “kongnamul soup and kimbop” places can be a lot of fun, with friends present…

Wandering the larger markets, eating at the restaurants where “normal” folks eat, and spending time with family and friends is far more valuable than being alone in an expensive but sterile tower.

I wouldn’t turn my nose up at a chance to enjoy staying at a posh place; but I’d rather we spent the money on our loved ones than strangers.

The branch covidians are at it again. Those virtue-signaling hysterical maniacal hypochondriacs, likely transgender, want everyone back in masks again. You know, to save Grandma.

Health ministers from Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia are re-installing temperature scanners and encouraging people to wear masks.

Encouraging people, they say. Isn’t that how mandates always start?

What these diversity hire health ministers are missing is that the cohort at highest risk of being hospitalized due to JN.1 is the vaccinated.

Guess who’s NOT at risk?

If those folks with the masks promise to keep them on, CH could probably hire more Rooskies to “vaccinate” them all…

Jeong Myeong-seok, the leader of Jesus Morning Star (JMS), a controversial religious organization, was sentenced by a court to 23 years in prison for sexual offenses Friday.

The Daejeon District Court handed down the sentence to the 78-year-old Jeong after finding him guilty of sexual assault and molestation.

Jeong was indicted on charges of raping and sexually assaulting two female followers of foreign nationality on a total of 23 occasions between February 2018 and September 2021, as well as sexually abusing a Korean female follower. He was also charged with making false statements by denying the allegations brought by the two foreign victims.

Millions of dead fish are washing up on Japan’s shores on a daily basis, after the Fukushima nuclear wastes are released into the ocean. So far, the dead fish are more than the entire year’s worth of catch by Japan, with shocked Japanese fishermen who say they never saw anything like this.

Amendment to the nation’s unemployment act, the government to give up to $30,000US to parents who take parental leaves for new births in addition to unemployment benefits to guarantee 80% of the wages. Parental leaves for both parents are increased from 12 to 18 months.

https://news.yahoo.com/south-korea-offer-18-months-231807271.html

This is on top of the free daycare, free $1,500 cash for firstborns with incremental cash payout for each additional birth, a generous baby bonus monthly plans that will soon increase to $750 a month, on top of various districts, cities, and provinces offering additional plans of their own to supplement the central plans.

Yet

All this showering of free money is expected to lead to yet another record-low fertility rate of 0.69 in 2023, from 0.78 in 2022 – a number unheard of in the world. What is wrong with this picture?

What is wrong with this picture?

Birth rate is correlated with the marriage rate … and the marriage rate is the lowest ever in the ROK?

Apparently the video/ still photos of the millions of dead fish is neither recent nor connected to the Fukushima treated waste water (which was released after the footage was taken).

Liz, your ‘fact check’ link was published on Thursday 31 August 2023 at 01:16, The news I posted, which was reported yesterday cites the news out of Japan that happened this month. The mass fish deaths are happening over and over again.

I think we need to take this seriously and I am in full support of free boosters to anybody that wants to stay Safe & Effective.

Further, those who are concerned about transmission should wear two… er… three masks and discourage the science deniers to go unmasked and exposed so covid will git ’em.

To recap:

– get as many Safe & Effectives as possible

– make sure the anti-science cicgender racists rightwing white males don’t get vaccinated or wear masks so they can get the covids

We got em this time!

, as has been pointed out many times, South Korean nuke plants discharge 2x the Fukushima radiation and have been doing so monthly for years.

Similarly, China releases roughly 100x monthly.

Our chinabots are gormless, feckless, fatherless simps for Beijing.

And the reason I’m distressed about this is that those pusillanimous mendancity-mongers have me defending inbred creeps from islands in the East Sea.

Reading some mainstream news, it seems clear the American public is being programmed for the end of the Ukraine war.

“Putin is quietly ready to negotiate an end to the war, with Russia suffering a humiliating defeat as it falls far short of its ambition to dominate Ukraine.”

This pattern of declaring victory and walking away has been America’s end-game for 50 years.

Just like America won in everything from Vietnam to Afghanistan, Ukraine will be victorious in stopping Russia’s advances towards Europe thanks to American/NATO/Ukraine solidarity.

Is there nothind Democracy & Freedom can’t do?

It will be time to build some glorious statues and turn Ukraine over to BlackRock to rebuild infrastructure and convert Ukrainian labor and resources into globohomo shareholder value.

Meanwhile, America will be protecting worldwide shipping by shooting down 20 thousand dollar Iranian drones from Yemen with two million dollar missiles until the destroyers run out of consumables and the entire carrier group has to slink over to Bahrain to rearm and tighten bolts.

(Due to a focus on fancy weapons systems rather than boring logistics shipping, America now has a forward-deployed navy rather than an expeditionary navy. Resupply and upkeep must be done in nearby ports rather than in the battlespace.)

Much like the outcome in Ukraine was 100% predictable with a calculator, a few months of various datapoints, and satallite photos showing how much artillery each side was using and trending based on craters, the general outcome in the naval operation is quite predictable based on the numbers and expenses of all the weapons involved.

The only way to change this is start dropping bombs on Yemen.

Poor Egypt.

The teetering economy may implode without that sweet Suez Canal income but if Egypt shows any support for actions agaisnt their Muslim brothers of Yemen supporting the Palestinians against Jewish atrocities, the teetering government may implode.

Watch Egypt to witness some brilliant political maneuvering.

…or collapse. Probably collapse.

Turkey to Yemen, Egypt to Iran is where the action now is. Ukraine is abandoned.

It is time to declare victory and turn it over to the corporations to exploit and use it as an expendable European buffer zone for the larger and increasingly armed expendable buffer zone of Poland.

NATO through American leadership brings us peace in Europe!

“Well done, Haruspex.”

That’s funny!

Let’s look at these guts and see what the squiggles mean.

Here at the bottom of the stomach, we see a classic case of taking as much Ukranian land as possible in a quick attack that didn’t require the standard three times larger invading force because the Ukranian positions were not fortified and Ukraine was not really ready.

This first bend shows the Russians building fortifications, preaiming artillary, laying mines, etc., with the tricky intention of making Ukrainians the invaders, as they emotionally try to recapture their own land with inferior forces and tactics.

Let’s do a quick roll of the chicken bones to see if there is any indication the “Russians will be out of missiles, soldiers, will to fight, etc., within weeks.” Nope.

Back to the intestines.

This lump shows Ukraine just burned through the military built for them since 2014, this nodule is the military of old Soviet equipment, and this dimple is the military of dumbed down versions of western equipment grudgingly given hoping the Russians won’t cature it.

This deeper dimples is the long-delayed Abrams that arrived under the condition they aren’t used for battle. Yet another “game changer” that changed no games.

Note the membrane coloration shows the F-16s that will get shot down the moment they seek to engage the enemy so America will do about anything not to see them embarrassed. That ranges from endless delays to just allowing Russia to have Ukraine.

Note the lack of connective tissue here indicating there really isn’t much left for the west to give.

And a quick look at the head shows a large hooked beak which verifies there is a better war now.

Lets roll the bones again. Ah, there is a big difference in artillary/missile/drone use, conscription aspects, production capabilities and trends, and successful attacks on staging logistics centers. That is valuable predictive information.

Back to the intestines.

Here at the connection between the big and little intestine, you can clearly see the Spring Offensive delayed to summer because nobody but the Russians were ready (and they used that time to get readier).

All these wavy structures show Ukraine’s nonsensical plan to “cut off the land bridge” by punching through the defensive line and reaching the Sea of Azov for reasons and benefits that are completely unclear.

This fatty part is Ukraine not concentrating its military to punch through the line as promised but spreading it out to several places where it was underpowered against fortifications and had no chance.

The texture here clearly shows Ukrainian Summer Offensive gains measured in tens of meters, not even reaching real Russian fortifications. A closer look shows the less hyped Russian gains which means during the Offensive, Ukraine actually lost territory. A lot of people don’t look at the texture enough. It contains valuable information like this.

Right here near the end of this intestine, you can note Russia is just relaxing and letting Ukraine wear itself out with disproportional losses while the world gloats about an imaginary stalemate. Once Ukraine gives up on attack and starts to build defense, Russia will become the attacker of a weak Ukrainian military. And Ukraine’s defenses will become victims of Russia’s superior ranged weapons.

Let’s check the end of the line. Here at the Aşshole, you can see… ah… the American taxpayer and all the suckers who believed anything the western media has been saying about Ukranian victory right around the corner.

And this leaking chickenshít shows us the Eurotards who have sanctioned their way to energy too expensive to support competitive industry.

Temple hours are 9 to 5. Readings hourly upon request.

I will confess to liking tea leaves more than goat, chicken or fish entrails. Steaming, throbbing, leaking, or otherwise.

I don’t trust either side any more than I do Beijing; but CH does have a clear understanding of the so-called “Merchants of Death”… who are present in all the larger nations…

What does Santa have in his sack for today?

How about a vaccine story where the side effects were beneficial!

A study from New Zealand showed that the HPV vaccine reduced preterm births by 23%.

That is a pretty good reason to get the vaccine even if you are not concerned about HPV.

That helped the government reduce some of the vaccine skepticism going around… which helped sell vaccines.

Of course, these days, some science deniers had to question the data, as it seemed odd to experienced medical staticians that there would be such a large beneficial effect when side effects are almost always harmful.

Surprisingly (for some), they found the numbers had somehow been reversed, and the HPV vaccine actually INCREASED preterm births.

That’s a silly mistake and a rather important distinction.

The authors retracted the paper when c̶a̶u̶g̶h̶t̶ the mistake was noticed… and gently said, “There may be an associated increased risk of preterm delivery.” Yes, there may be. Reversed numbers generally mean reversed results.

Should this all be done again to double check?

They would do it again… they WANTED to do it again… but the dog ate their data, or as they put it, “the authors have not been able to access the original source data as per protocol to check the data validity.”

The original source data was the New Zealand government… that only likes to share data when there is a plan to back their narrative.

That was embarrassing for the authors. And I feel bad for the unnamed, and possibly mythical, “inexperienced PhD candidate” who “inverted the data set.”

But perhaps it’s an honest mistake between not keeping a copy of the data, getting confused about reciprocal, forgetting to double check, etc.

What’s that?

Oh.

It was funded by the company that holds the rights to the HPV vaccine in Australia and New Zealand.

Funny that wasn’t mentioned anywhere.

In the retraction, the editor glossed over those details while expressing “disappointment” but was quick to mention this company was not aware of the results, whatever that means.

But both the covid vaccine and the girl I am seeing in the bar are different.

And cigarettes are GOOD for babby!

Sorry. It was coal in your stocking after all.

Tangential to your point:

Big Pharma has been fully exposed for what they really are. The curtain has been ripped back for all to see. At least those who care to see. Covid backfired and backfired in the worst way possible (for them, it was good for us). Every day I’m reading testimonies from an exponentially growing list of people who are saying “Never again”.

Not only are they never again going to take anything that rhymes with Maxine, but they are going one step further to say they won’t be taking any pharmaceutical product again … ever.

Prior to the scam, I mean chimera, or whatever you call what happened the last three years, maybe they were pro-vaxxers, never-vaxxers, or somewhere in between, but this group is saying”No more” “Never again”.

And what’s funny is the likewise growing list who say they will never vaccinate their kids or their pets ever again.

From that sense, 2024 has brought us the best Christmas gift of all. Freedom. The question then becomes will we have the courage to guard it and defend it to ensure we never lose it again.

S.Korea becoming a submarine superpower

https://nationalinterest.org/blog/buzz/south-korea-slowly-becoming-submarine-superpower-208147

Having these long-range lithium battery hybrid subs is probably a better idea than hugely expensive naval carrier groups. S.Korea needs to protect its trade routes because the US is increasingly disengaging from Asia, and it’s just a matter of time. The problem is, that nothing beats the nuclear-powered subs which S.Korea needs badly but can’t develop freely due to US opposition.

As NavalNews also noted, it remains a question for South Korea to find a long-term nuclear fuel supplier for its potential K-SSN fleet

S.Korea wouldn’t have this issue if it was allowed to reprocess its own nuclear wastes coming from its huge nuclear power plant industry. Again, due to US opposition. The US keeps S.Korea dependent on the US, while many in the US admonish the S.Koreans for being too dependent on the US. If they want to cut the cord, then really cut the cord and let South Korea do what it needs to do.

Actually, “escort-class” ships like DDGs and FFGs can very effectively counter SSNs… and cost a fraction of the submersible price.

Both the Sejong the Great class and the new Chungnam class set high standards for both anti-submarine and anti-shipping roles.

South Korea’s biggest threats right now are the massive and illegal Chinese “fishing” fleets that destroy all life in the waters they scourge. Having a “big brother” back up the Coast Guard, as needed, could save the livelihood of Korean fishermen—and preserve traditional Korean dietary preferences.
