Ukraine Displays Evidence Russia is Using North Korean Manufactured Ballistic Missiles
Considering the reported weapons deal between Russia and North Korea the fact that the Russian military is using cheaply made North Korean missiles should not be a suprise:

The Kharkiv region prosecutor’s office provided further evidence on Saturday that Russia attacked Ukraine with missiles supplied by North Korea, showcasing the fragments.
A senior adviser to President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Friday that Russia hit Ukraine this week with missiles supplied by North Korea for the first time during its invasion.
Dmytro Chubenko, spokesperson for the prosecutor’s office, said the missile, one of several that hit the city of Kharkiv on Jan. 2, was visually and technically different from Russian models.
“The production method is not very modern. There are deviations from standard Iskander missiles, which we previously saw during strikes on Kharkiv. This missile is similar to one of the North Korean missiles,” Chubenko told media as he displayed the remnants.

If I was a North Korean missile engineer, performance in real war instead of the east sea would be valuable information.
If I was Russia, firing cheap missiles at the target until their defense was empty and then sending the real missiles to mosey in and take care of business seems like a good plan.
The media laughs at everything Russia does… but it all seems reasonable.

Flyingsword, the fundementals of the 2024 budget have been worked out.
1.59 trillion
That is 886 billion for defense and 704 billion for illegal aliens, people that don’t want to work, mating habits of lesbians, maybe some highway funds so 18 year-olds cant drink, some military weapons for the IRS, the ususal.
It is zero for your healthcare, education, etc.
(Whatever they say is for these programs is just a wealth transfer from taxpayer to these industries as they raise their price to match the subsidy… like apartments in front of the military base.)
There is also an addition 69 billion in “adjustments”, the meaning of which is not clear, except they appear to fund democratic pet projects and make 704 billion into 773 billion, which asks the question why release 704 when the real number is 773. Whatever. The numbers are all meaningless anyway.
What was not obvious is the busget to pay interest on the national debt.
Back in 2020, the debt was much lower and the interest was much lower. In 2023, the debt was crazy and the interest was much higher as low-interest debt rolled over to high interest debt, as it will next year, but worse.
This means that in 2023, America is going to pay almost… one triiiiiillllllion dollars in interest. That is bigger than defense or wellfare or healthcare.
This is why we can’t have nice things.
But the real question is, with all this spending, why don’t we already have nice things?
Spoiler: Pointless war and supporting worthless people that have given us no return on investment are probably the biggest reasons.
So the next question I am going to look into is…
Where is this expense in the budget? I’m kinda worried… like when I loan someone money and they delay paying me back but still show off their new Apple product.
There are three choices, as I see:
– hyper inflation
– keep pretending it is no problem and hope everyone buys it until the next election
– world war before it is financially too late
Anybody else have a clever opinion?
Whatever the case, more funding to make Ukraine lose more is not a priority anymore.
If we have extra cash, it needs to go to Israel so Palestinians are no longer a problem. That’s a better return on investment.
