All the way south of Seoul to Daecheon Port Fisheries Market we enjoyed the cherry blossoms back in 2014. Then we enjoyed the fresh seafood.

Rookie mistake.
Port doesn’t pair well with fish.
Red wines, even port, has tannins which taste bitter with umami-rich foods. Further, when tannins interact with fish oils, they produce a taste best described as “metallic.”
Next time, try the Chenin Blanc Fisheries Market. They know what they are doing down there.
