Survey Shows that South Korean Rate Roh Moo-hyun as Their Favorite President

How bad have Korean presidents been if Roh Moo-hyun comes out as the top president? Can anyone name one great thing Roh Moo-hyun did during his Presidency? Unless you are a North Korean sympathizer he did nothing great. His biggest accomplishments was increasing anti-Americanism to probably the highest levels ever and then funnelling billions of dollars of money to North Korea which allowed them to develop their nuclear and missile programs. If you can believe it there was a time when South Korea was paying more money to North Korea than to help fund the US-ROK alliance.

Anti-American street rally in Seoul in 2002.

Much of the problems with North Korea today can be linked back to the Kim Dae-jung and Roh Moo-hyun presidencies that believed funding North Korea would lead to economic development and eventual reunification, instead the Kim regime used the funding to advance their nuclear program to threaten the region and now even the world:

Former President Roh Moo Hyun is the favorite of Koreans, and Hyundai Group founder Chung Ju-yung is the No. 1 businessman, according to the survey.

This is the result of a survey of 1,777 people aged 13 or older nationwide (excluding Jeju) from March 22 to April 5. The confidence level is 95% and the sampling error is ±2.3 percentage points.

When asked about the “favorite president of all time”, 31% of the respondents chose former president Roh Moo Hyun. Former President Park Chung-hee followed with 24 percent and former President Kim Dae Jung with 15 percent.

You can read more at the link, but Chung Ju-yung as the best businessman I can at least say he accomplished something great by founding Hyundai and becoming at the time the richest man in Korea. However, like former President Roh, Chung was another guy funneling cash to North Korea on behalf of the Kim Dae-jung presidency. Chung is yet another person through what he thought were good intentions helped create the North Korean nuclear and missile programs that remain a regional and even global threat today.

Comrade Roh, guess South Koreans do want to live under the glorious banner of communism.

“SURVEY SHOWS THAT SOUTH KOREAN RATE ROH MOO-HYUN AS THEIR FAVORITE PRESIDENT”

This result show the basic wisdom of Koreans.

They intuitively know that government that gets nothing done is the best government.

Hopefully this wisdom continues to Moon where they learned an anti-Korean doing the anti-Korean bidding of globalist masters can sell out the self-employeed middle class to multinationals if you let them.

I guess Yoon is the most popular president for rightwing MAGAs. He took thousands of jobs and hundreds of billions of dollars from Koreans and gave them to Americans to enrich their coffers. The killer is that he didn’t get anything in return for South Korea. It was all free money to the US. If Roh didn’t do anything good for Korea, that’s far better than what Yoon did – ripped off billions from Koreans and gave them to Americans and irreparably harmed the Korean economy.

I am very aware that Moon hurt middle-class small business owners and they haven’t really recovered. (He hooked up the multinationals at the same time).

Tell us exactly what Yoon did. Provide a link if possible.

We all know that’s a convenient excuse for you to attack Moon.

It is obvious that you don’t like Moon because he suspended ROK-US military exercises and tried to make peace with North Korea, which would have threatened the very notion of Keeping USFK in Korea Forever.

Why don’t you be honest with yourself for once?

You are right. I shouldn’t have introduced Moon’s known misdeeds in a conversation intended to expose Yoon.

But… funny… you never did quite get around to demonstraiting your statements about Yoon.

Let’s start over.

O.K. I will bite. Tell us more about what Yoon has done against Korea.

Full disclosure: I have no emotional attachment to Yoon. I do not hate him becasue I do not notice him. That is the best I can hope for in a politician. If you can sell me on his badness, I will buy it.

However, I have noticed a few things:

– He inherited Moon’s mess… not an easy thing to unfúck, especially with the opposition sabotaging anything that might help and then blaming Yoon for not helping.

– The media lied about him from his first day in office. No new president in history has had such low popularity until they make their first mistake.

“Yoon is unpopular.”
“Why?”
“The media said he hasn’t done anything.”
“He has been president for a month.”

I had that comversation.

– The people against Moon the loudest are some of the dumbest people I have met… clearly drones easily programmed by media to support the Thing and hate the Other Thing.

But maybe you are right. Maybe there is some simple thing with no secondary upside where Yoon screwed Korea.

So tell us.

But if you cannlot…

I don’t know what world Chickenhead lived in during the Pandemic.

But this is what a Greek restaurant owner in Seoul said of her business during the COVID period.

“To be completely honest, although we did have some quiet days at the beginning, we were fortunate that our neighborhood welcomed us,” Sample said. “We were also fortunate that Korea, unlike nearly the rest of the world, never enforced a full lockdown during the entire pandemic. We had restricted operating hours and had to deal with social distancing, masks and QR codes just like everybody else, but comparatively, COVID wasn’t that bad for us.”

Just compare that to the damage the Trump administration did to the US economy when COVID hit the US, with their draconian lockdowns that South Korea never experienced in the same way as the Americans.

Every day, we stray farther from God and the reasons why Yoon “took thousands of jobs and hundreds of billions of dollars from Koreans and gave them to Americans to enrich their coffers. ”

Is there nothing bad you can say against the guy?

Yes, hundreds of billions of dollars were ripped off from the shipping industry and the computer industry and handed over to the US. He turned Korea into a poor country. All that money exiting the country and being transferred to American banks, SK’s currency has depreciated 40% since he came to power. That’s what happens when all the jobs move to the US.

You have said that. Now you have to explain that.

Hey, maybe they like Roh because he showed responsibility and killed himself for his misdeeds.

Does anyone really think he killed himself over nothing?

I think his backstory appeals to people, aside from his final disgrace.

Roh was an amzing and accomplished guy. His path in life should be respected and learned from.

He had two major flaws:

– he fought the pigs… meaning he wrestled in the mud with the low-level people who make their living finding nonsense and trying to make a big deal of it. Instead of laughing this off, his presidency spiraled downward because he took it seriously and addressed it. There is no winning there. Tell these people to eat a díck and then keep doing whatever you are doing that is popular.

– he was a leftist… which makes sense in his background, but this is always a losing strategy once you get into the real world… and anybody who leans left really needs to be thrown off a cliff. Good job, anonymous Korea-first nationalists saving Korea.

Leftists are perpetually angry because they have some fantasy about how the world works… and, of course, it doesn’t work this way… so they conclude the world is wrong and then they try to fix it. Since they have no idea about history, human nature, etc., their solutions are terrible.

This is fine, of course. People can live in whatever fantasy they want to live in… but when they try to push it off on me… well… no… off the cliff you go.

Government that leaves me alone is the best government.

The needless and insane response to covid is a great example.
