These are all gamers.
They played Age of Empires: Battle of Marathon.
If they won, they had to run the approximate distance between Marathon and Athens on a treadmill.
If they lost, in the spirit of scaphism, they were smeared with Hot Pockets and chicken tendies, and trapped between two gaming chairs for a day.

Is this for charity or something? Who the hell would run a marathon on a treadmill? There are no TVs on those treadmills either. This looks like pure torture.
