Sounds like a game-changer…

…but for reasons you don’t expect.

…because you don’t know the game.

If you were a rational, thinking human being, you would ask yourself why America sent dumbed-down F-16s to Ukraine while yelling “game changer”.

Then you would ask yourself the same thing about Taiwan.

Fortunately, you are more simple than this so life is more simple.

As Taiwan, in a partnership with Israel and South Africa, had operational, air-launched, nuclear-tipped, cruise missile deployed a year before the USAF had them, I don’t think technology will be an issue.

What is more important is the so-called “Fuzzy Wuzzy Fallacy”.

The Fuzzy Wuzzy Fallacy is a name for a wargaming theory coined by Richard Hamblen in the September 1976 edition of Avalon Hill’s “The General Magazine”, loosely based on historical records of battles between the British and the Sudanese Mahdi. The Fuzzy Wuzzy Fallacy states that a single soldier with 2× firepower or attack strength is not equal to two soldiers with 1× firepower or attack strength. Instead, the soldier with 2× firepower is actually worth sqrt{2} of the 1× soldier, if either soldier can be killed in a single hit.

As a result, tactics and strategy designed around this theory emphasize greater numbers and time, which the speed and mobility of the units in action can effect.”

During the Korean War, it happened that US combat troops had more gun barrels than either before or since. That greatly helped slow or stop the human wave tactics used by the Communist Chinese “volunteers”.

Obviously, it won’t be advanced fighters at anywhere near 2:1 odds, not counting drones and missiles, so the conflict might get very rough.

Especially with the navies of India, Taiwan, the Philippines, and other Allied nations sinking or seizing all merchant ships and tankers coming from or going to China.

I doubt there will be such a war. Winnie XI likes his fried pork far too well…
