Ukraine Claims 500 North Korean Soldiers Killed By Storm Shadow Missile Strike
|Who knows how true this is, but this is what Ukraine is claiming a missile strike into Russia’s Kursk province has caused:
A Ukrainian media outlet has reported that about 500 North Korean soldiers were killed in a missile strike by Kyiv in Russia’s western Kursk region.
Citing Global Defense Corp., a defense news publisher, RBC Ukraine said the North Korean soldiers were killed “as a result of the Storm Shadow missile strike on the Kursk region.”
South Korean and U.S. officials said North Korea sent more than 10,000 troops to Russia in support of its invasion against Ukraine.

While it may be true, gloating over the deaths of others is a demonic attitude.
It’s one way we spot people to avoid.
North Korea, with help from Russia, has begun construction of their nuclear-powered submarine.

And yet, South Korea’s hands are still tied behind by the US. This $10 billion a year bill to maintain this so-called “alliance” is now becoming a serious impediment for South Korea, instead of being an asset. With that kind of money, South Korea can develop and run a nuclear attack submarine fleet with SLMB capability to strike at any enemy from anywhere. SK is facing severe US impediments, and it doesn’t need the empty promises of an unreliable ally who will bail like they did in Vietnam, Ukraine, and Afghanistan. Let them pack up and go home now, That will free up SK to develop its own nukes and nuclear-powered subs to protect itself.
The 500 figure is probably KIA’s and wounded. Either way, if it’s true, approximately 5% casualties after only what, 30 days in county? At that rate, Kim might have to send the rumored 120,000 just to keep a 10,000 man rifle division at full strength.

Spoken like a true Russiabot.
Let’s hope this is not true.
If it is, NK will feel the need to injure Ukraine rather than just kick Ukrainians off of Russian land (which is all it appears they are doing, even though there is amazingly no proof of this).
But North Korea might also feel the need to injure the UK for providing Storm Shadows and the authorization (and direct technical help) to use them against North Koreans.
And, as UK is a member of NATO and the US is a member of NATO and there are all sorts of US things in Korea…
…well…
This is how you get WWIII in our back yard rather than over in Europe where it belongs.
Then we see SK is training Ukrainians on SK weapons.
This is starting to feel like a downward spiral, a quick climb up the escalation ladder, a horizontal trainwreck in slow motion…
…and a number of other directionally-oriented similes.
