General Brunson Takes Command of U.S. Forces Korea

USFK has a new commander just in time for Christmas:

Gen. Xavier Brunson took office as the new commander of U.S. Forces Korea (USFK) on Friday, vowing a continued commitment to upholding the South Korea-U.S. alliance amid persistent threats by North Korea.

Brunson replaced Gen. Paul LaCamera to lead the 28,500-strong American troops in South Korea in a change-of-command ceremony held at Camp Humphreys in Pyeongtaek, 70 kilometers south of Seoul, attended by top officials from both nations, including acting Defense Minister Kim Seon-ho and U.S. Indo-Pacific Command Commander Adm. Samuel Paparo.

You can read more at the link, but General LaCamera is retiring after 44 years of service. That is a lot of Army! Congratulations to him on a well deserved retirement.

Another guy with more Medals than Eisenhower, MacArthur, Patton, and Bradley combined…

But how many wars has he won?

Setnaffa, you act as if instead of earning his position by being a competent military leader, he involved himself in devisive racial differentiation and used it as a tool for advancement over more qualified candidates.

I doubt that.

He has a master’s degree in human resources.

Those don’t exactly go on trees.

Let’s see if he has a history of unifying those under him by showing no special attention to those of his race over those of other races.

…ohhhh.

The Setnaffarians, being racists, likely preferred a white male to lead the USFK, UNC, and CFC.

However, since an African-American was appointed to the position, it’s likely they are dissatisfied.

But the Setnaffarians need not worry, as Trump is expected to withdraw the USFK from Korea soon. As a result, they won’t have to contend with seeing an African-American as the top officer of the USFK.

Actually, I don’t care what color suntan a fellow has; but I’m not surprised to see the chinabots scuttling up to defend another DEI hire.

It runs in their blood.

BTW, how many non-HAN Chinese are in Xi’s inner circle of advisors?

On the other hand, CCP generals know how to dig deeply into any situation.

Talking of the PRC, the US itself is going in the PRC mode.

After the US angering Mexico and Canada, with stupid remarks about bombing/invading Mexico and making Canada the 51st state, they’re at it again by threatening Denmark to hand over Greenland, and threatening Panama with a US invasion.

The US is no longer being seen as a benevolent superpower. It’s now officially an obnoxiously dangerous expansionist power hell-bent on robbing from other countries to enrich itself. In other words, no better than China.
