President Yoon Sends Defiant Message to “Anti-State Forces”
|This could get really ugly if the Korean police try to raid the Presidential office and get into a fight with Presidential security:
Impeached South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol, in a message to conservative supporters rallying outside his Seoul residence, vowed to “fight to the end” against “anti-state forces,” while his legal team warned Thursday that police officers attempting to detain him could face arrest by his presidential security service or even civilians.
Yoon’s latest statement of defiance came as the Corruption Investigation Office for High-Ranking Officials prepared to execute a detainment warrant against him that was issued by a Seoul court on Tuesday and is valid for one week. The warrant was issued after Yoon evaded multiple requests to appear for questioning and blocked searches of his office, hindering an investigation into whether his short-lived power grab on Dec. 3 amounted to rebellion.
Oh Dong-woon, the anti-corruption agency’s chief prosecutor, has indicated that police forces might be deployed if Yoon’s security service resists the detention attempt, which could occur as early as Thursday. But it remains unclear whether Yoon can be compelled to submit to questioning. Yoon’s legal team issued a statement on Thursday warning that any attempt by the anti-corruption agency to use police units for his detention would exceed their legal authority. The lawyers said police officers could face arrest by either the “presidential security service or any citizens” if they try to detain Yoon. They didn’t elaborate further on the claim.

Hiding behind 75+ year old near-Alzheimer far-right grandpas and grandmas who are barely able to walk, holding up US flags (since they’re mentally confused what country they’re living in), attacking police who are simply trying to do their duty. That’s some cowardly act by a President who had said on TV, after he canceled the Martial Law, that he would take responsibility for his own actions, and that he would cooperate with the authorities with their investigation of him.
But he now says he is protecting the country’s “Liberal Democracy”. How? By declaring Martial Law and arresting all opposition politicians and media? Trumpian-DoubleSpeak-Lies.
This guy needs to be removed by force. That is if he doesn’t shoot himself in the head first.
Finally Koreans showing some backbone in the face of commie chinese infiltration.
Busses full of young people, many actually from Jolla Do arrived to defend Pres. Yoon. The youth are not going to let the chinese commies take Korea….I hope.
Korean Man (if you really are Koeran), I read your post earlier and had to come back and comment. You really are a dik. Those 75+ grandpas and grandmas deserve respect. They are the generation that grew up during or after the war (you know, back in’50-’53).They grew up with nothing and survived. I was in korea in the early 70’s and most people outside of Seoul had squat. You must think you’re owed somthing for being a smart ass. I thought you were angry because of the 6’10” Japanese guy shoves that 4′ stick up your ass every morning, but it must be something else. Your momma must not have been around for you. Was she one of the “working girls” outside one of the U.S. military installations? That would also explaine your anger against the U.S. Is yo daddy one of those servicemen and didn’t give you no lovin? And if things are so bad here on the DROP, feel free to fuk off. Nobody would miss you. Course you propably figure any attention is better than no attention. And why don’t you head north to the “Workers Paradise” and get all the freebies the north has to offer since you think the government should take care of you. What an arrogant ass!
Don’t be so serious on Korea Man.
Over the years, dingleberries such as him have come and gone. Sometimes, they stick around for far more failure and abuse than you think possible. But you learn a lot about certian human thought patterns and mindsets.
But they serve a very useful purpose.
They ensure there is always a prompt for the smart people to explain their thoughts in more detail.
If you just ignore them and read the responses, there is good material. There is no need to take them seriously. They are not “human” in the normal sense.
Have fun with them.
@rocketman
KM, KP, etc sound exactly like every other college educated American. Just with an added Korean flavor. We export ideological poison to the world and meddle in every election. When it turns out those “moderates” were really communists or Jihadists or etc, we have the military go clean up the mess if they are lucky qnd if not we sometimes sit back and watch genocide or two while pretending we had nothing to do with it.
Read Korean newspapers, they sound just like ‘elite’ American college newspaper. Then you notice where Koreans are being educated and how Harvard/Stanford/etc are considered high status by not just Koreans but by the world. Everyone has been ideologically captured by our leftist academia. Those old folks KM hates are really just the last generation of Koreans. Everyone else is living in progressive America. This doesn’t end until there are Tanks on Harvard Yard, so to speak. The Trump team somewhat understands this and discussion about confiscating university endowments, while not going far enough, are a start.
rocketman, what is that American rhyme, after someone calls you bunch of bad names?
Oh that’s right. Sticks and stones.
So tell me GrayBlack. You wanted to see South Korea cancel all civic freedoms, arrest all its politicians and reporters that don’t tow the line, then have them all go missing. That’s your idea of American freedom? Sure buddy, that’s only in your Trumpian delusions – that’s America’s coming future for sure. You guys can laugh at Korea now, but your political system will also break soon, but unlike Korea, you guys with a culture of violence, will be at a shooting Civil War.
