President Yoon’s Lawyers Say He is Willing to Attend Constitutional Court Impeachment Trial Hearings

President Yoon’s lawyers understand that the Constitutional Court impeachment trial is really the main event to be focused on. If the Constitutional Court does not approve of his impeachment and he remains President, the CIO is going to have a harder time justifying their case:

President Yoon Suk Yeol will comply with legal procedures if he is indicted or a formal arrest warrant is sought over his short-lived martial law, rather than the current warrant for temporary detention, his lawyers said, Wednesday.

They also said the president is willing to attend his impeachment trial hearings at the Constitutional Court without restrictions, as long as the ongoing controversy over the removal of insurrection charges is resolved.

However, it remains to be seen if the president’s side will truly comply with the legal procedures, as he has not done so with the detention warrant issued at the request of the Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials (CIO), which is leading a joint investigation with the police and the defense ministry.

The lawyers reiterated their stance of non-cooperation with the CIO’s detention warrant, which has been extended. A detention warrant is typically issued when investigators need to take immediate custody of a suspect for questioning before seeking a formal arrest warrant. This allows them to detain a suspect for 48 hours, and if they wish to continue questioning under custody, they must seek a separate arrest warrant.

Yoon has refused to cooperate with the detention warrant, arguing that the anti-corruption agency lacks legal grounds for investigating the insurrection charges.

The fastest way to end this nightmare.

Arrest Yoon, charge him with armed rebellion, impeach him, then sentence him to death and carry out the sentencing without delay.

Then clean out the den of collaborators that tried to helped him.

This is absolutely necessary so that this doesn’t happen again. This blast from the 1980 past happened the second time in 2024 because Korea did a poor job getting rid of the Chun Doo Hwan’s legacy. Chun was pardoned after a death sentence for an illegal military takeover of the country. His helpers went onto become important Conservative Party leaders. Now after 35 years, these people brought out their true color. They now needs to be completely purged and wiped out so that this will never happen again. Whoever in the future, thinks about grabbing power through military takeover, will need to worry about their lives, and hopefully it will discourage them from even thinking about it.

This will be a big mandate for the Lee Jae-Myung government who will dominate the National Assembly which will be a good thing for Korea.

If the Constitutional Court does not approve of his impeachment and he remains President, the CIO is going to have a harder time justifying their case:

A couple of points. Since can’t seem to understand the situation here.

The Constitutional Court determines the constitutionality of the President’s actions. It doesn’t pass judgement on whether laws have been broken or not.

If the Constitutional Court finds that the President’s actions were not constitutional and power has been abused they will approve of his impeachment.

The CIO is investigating whether laws have been broken. Specifically whether Yoon ordered armed troops into the National Assembly to arrest its members and disrupt the National Assembly which under current Korean laws is considered as an insurrection and is punishable by death.

In order to determine the above the CIO wants to question Yoon. Since Yoon has refused the summons, they are moving to arrest him.

The arrest warrant has been issued by a Korean court.

In case of insurrection, any legal protection that a sitting Korean President may have goes out the window, which means yes, an arrest warrant may be issued and a law enforcement agency can act on that warrant.

There is a big clue to how leftists think.

Leftists will talk about rules but we see over and over how they ignore them (and then scream racism when caught).

Arrest Yoon, charge him with armed rebellion, impeach him, then sentence him to death and carry out the sentencing without delay.

Notice the first step is always arresting in a big show with an orange jumpsuit and too many handcuffs. This ensures the victim is powerless and there can be no defense against unjust charges.

Once he is arrested, he is charged in a big press event by somber indignant men.

Then he is impeached (indicted) after some show hearings where rumors and lies can be loudly presented as facts.

(insert missing step here¹)

Then, the enemy is gleefully sentenced to death.

…and quickly executed.

¹Missing Step: Trial, where there is due process and a requirement for actual evidence. This is always the weak part of leftist fantasy.

Like they say, you broke the law, you go to jail. No President is above the law nor the Constitution. That includes Yoon and Trump who just gave a terrifying press conference that he will use the military to take over other countries. You should be worried about your own country, rather than trying to be a shill for a Korean scoundrel drunk most of the time with 20 glasses of soju and beer sessions, and is probably also on drugs, who isn’t even worth anyone’s time.

“Like they say, you broke the law, you go to jail.”

They don’t actually say that.

They say if you are convicted of breaking the law in a fair trial, you go to jail.

But everyone is way ahead of themselves here.

There has not yet been a valid legal opinion if Yoon even broke the law.

You look stupid going on about the death penalty now and you may be highly disappointed later.

Did you learn nothing from the raids on Melina Trump’s panty drawer because Trump was selling nuclear codes to the Russians or some equivalent silliness?

I heard MONTHS of he was going to be marched out of Mar-a-Lago in handcuffs followed by execution for treason.

“Is Biden still using Trump’s nuclear code?”

Stunned silence as the entire framework of their reality collapses like dominoes. Nothing the say or believe is valid. Their life is a lie.

“You just don’t understand the law.”

(Without looking it up, you likely have no idea why the FBI raided Trump’s bedroom… except maybe TrEaSoN.)

What are u squealing on about? Night of Dec 3 the entire world saw Yoon speech on TV declaring martial law while his soldiers were breaking down doors. And now he’s locked himself behind a heavily armed compound vowing to fight to the death. Well it’s his choice whether he gets a trial or not. Can’t do anything if he is determined to go down fighting.

EU warns the US against military invasions of sovereign nations.

“EU warns” is one of the funniest verb phrase I heard this week. Got any more?

Yes, I got more.

Yoon’s claim, based on his ultra-rightwing Youtube channel supporters, about supposed electoral frauds, got destroyed by the AFP Factcheck

https://factcheck.afp.com/doc.afp.com.36RG6PF

Over a thousand men with choppers, armored carriers, and heavy guns to be deployed – to overwhelm the dangerous rebels led by a drunk lunatic. They will all be under arrest and charged with treason, that is if they resist and they are not shot and killed.
