U.S. Congresswoman Young Kim Criticizes Impeachment of President Yoon
Congresswoman Young Kim was born in Incheon and has a long history in the U.S. House of Representatives being an expert on Korean affairs. She makes a great point on how the DPK’s first impeachment motion was to condemn Yoon for diplomacy atagonizing China, Russia, and North Korea. They ended up having to remove this motion after criticism, but shows who they favoritism towards:
“If the factions behind the impeachment in South Korea continue to steer the current situation, North Korea and China will seize this opportunity to weaken the U.S.-South Korea alliance. I say this based on my over 20 years of experience witnessing the threats posed by North Korea and China in the U.S. House of Representatives.”
In a written interview with The Chosun Ilbo on Jan. 14, Young Kim, a U.S. congresswoman (Republican, California), said, “The forces behind President Yoon Suk-yeol’s impeachment prefer appeasement toward North Korea and accommodation of China, which could lead to a major disaster for the Korean Peninsula and the Indo-Pacific region.” (…….)
In U.S. political circles, there has been growing concern over the phrase “diplomacy antagonizing North Korea, China, and Russia,” which was cited as a reason for impeachment in the first motion proposed by South Korea’s Democratic Party last month. After the first motion was defeated and controversy intensified, the opposition removed this clause from the second motion.

So South Korea shouldn’t impeach Yoon for trying to take over the country militarily and arresting all the opposition, to keep him as the President, just so that Yoon can continue to be the American lapdog. The US is now starting to get involved in domestic affairs of South Korea, favoring a military rule under Yoon and Korean people under shackles, so that the US can use Yoon as their tool.

It’s obvious who Young Kim works for – The US with Trump’s America First slogan which means they only care what’s good for Americans and hell with others.

America has been hooking up worthless invaders, ungrateful Muslim, crappy countries perpetuating war, organizations openly trying to destroy America, etc.
America First is government working for Americans and not those using America for their own economic and ideological agenda.
If you wanted Korea to succeed, you would understand the benefit of this attitude and be yelling (south) Korea First.
The reason people band together is to become stronger as a group than as an individual… not to become weaker by having assets and labor drained to give to those looking for the destruction of you and your group.

Let’s examine this statement. It’s coming from an American interest point of view. Nothing to do with Korean point of view. If Trump suddenly declared Martial Law, and ordered the arrest of the Democratic party members (he very well could make this move later), and fails, the US constitution law will kick in and he would be facing impeachment too for abuse of power.
So according to Young Kim then, isn’t it the same as she saying, Koreans can never pick the Democratic Party leader as the president, because that will lead to “appeasement towards NK and China”? Who said so? Because the US said so.
By the way, the greatest appeaser towards NK is, Trump himself. He’s more than once said he would sit down with NK and appease them for peace. That means no more sanctions and full recognition of their nuke power. Where is Young Kim on that? Oh that’s right, not a peep to Trump.
