Commerce Secretary Nominee Says Korea and Japan Are Taking Advantage of America; Wants to Bring Manufacturing Back to the U.S.

Is it really taking advantage of America by producing a product in your own country and selling it to the U.S.? If making the product in the U.S. was cheaper than manufacturing it in Korea for example, these foreign companies would do so:

President Donald Trump’s nominee for commerce secretary accused South Korea and Japan on Wednesday of having “taken advantage of” America’s “good nature,” stressing the need to work together with the allies to bring their production to the United States.

Howard Lutnick, a preeminent businessman, made the remarks during a Senate confirmation hearing, pointing to steel products from Japan and appliances from South Korea, as he responded to a senator’s question over what he will do to foster an environment to encourage joint ventures with U.S. allies.

“Our great allies have taken advantage of our good nature, and they like steel in Japan and appliances in Korea … I mean, they’ve just taken advantage of us. It’s time for them to partner with us and bring that production back home,” Lutnick told the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation.

Korea doesn’t make appliances in Korea to sell to the US. South Korea already has appliance factories in the US and Mexico. I guess the US wants everything for themselves. Give me give me give me… it’s all mine! The whole world is mine! You got something in your hand? Give that to me, that’s mine too!

Korea invested billions upon billions into the US economy, being the US’s number one foreign investor, far larger than any other country. There are huge Korean factories going up everywhere, constructed and staffed by American workers. All at the expense of the Korean economy which is being sapped to nothing by a blackhole called America. Why is the Korean currency so weak? Because all the money is flowing into the US, enriching the US oligarchs.

But it’s still not enough. Yah, that’s right Koreans are ripping off the US again. What did I tell you? I knew exactly that this would happen. America, you are crap and you have no class. Go to hell.

Lee Jae-Myung for president!

All those Korean car factories in Alabammy and Jorja they gonna close down … and be re-branded as Muscars.

Musk: Trump! Assume the position!

The best part of Trump’s reelection is to crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women.

Or maybe it’s their men.

It’s hard to tell the difference between the women and the low testosterone beta cucks that represent leftist men.

But the are good at organizing.

The Korea Man/Person/Stephen project has been handed off to someone smarter but lazy AF.

It makes for lots of up and down vote manipulation but that’s about all.

@Korean Man

In the Musk-Trump dyad Robert Reich has identified who is the top, and who is the bottom.

Robert Reich

“To recap, Trump:

– Forced out the FAA chief at Musk’s insistence

– Imposed a hiring freeze that reportedly included air traffic controllers

– Fired the TSA head and gutted a key aviation safety committee

– Blamed the DCA crash on DEI

This is disastrous leadership”

Stephen, which one of those things caused this accident?

– Forced out the FAA chief at Musk’s insistence (this is the FAA that certified the 737 Max… they need a reboot)

– Imposed a hiring freeze that reportedly included air traffic controllers
(If hiring ads had gone out the first day of Trump’s presidency, there would not yet be any new air trafic controllers)

– Fired the TSA head and gutted a key aviation safety committee
(Every time I fly, I don’t follow the rules and it is never noticed. Anybody seriously up to no good could do anything. Twice, I have witnessed incompetence so bad, they don’t need to be fired, they need to be whipped.)

(The Aviation Security Advisory Committee is about taking your belt and shoes off and has nothing to do with this accident)

That’s right. None.

The conditions for this crash, from number of controllers on duty to the skills of everyone involved was, and still are, controlled by Biden era policies.

@GI, the US steel industry was not competing only against foreign steel companies. The governments of Japan and Korea gave large subsidies to the companies to jump-start their lower prices, in part fed by the Marshall Plan, as we bombed their old plants and built them newer, more efficient ones. American workers are also hampered by unions who work against their interests.

TSA would make pilots take off their shoes too. Once my husband tried to take a forearm exerciser on the plane and they said it could be used as a club. His response, “You realize I have an axe in the cockpit, don’t you?”
I do applaud the government’s attempt to employ the mentally disabled but they probably should stay out of the security business.

Disgraceful Yoon who did this to the Korean economy. Sold out the country to the US.

As Chickenhead has said, the US wants to kill off all the countries – doesn’t matter friends or enemies. But that fcken traitor Yoon has moved billions and billions worth of production to the US, believing that these American scammers will stick to their contracts. The economic financial damage to the country is untold. I told you this is what was going to happen. This is going to kill off the PPP party forever, and Yoon has to hang at the gallows for treason. Incompetent stupid drunken assh&le.

Now it’s imperative for Lee Jae-Myung to take the helm and bring back some semblance of order and discipline, and work for South Korea, and not work for hostile foreign countries like the US. The USFK should be paying South Korea for their military camps.

Stocks tank, as Donald Trump declares a tariff war on the world, as he tries to destroy the economies of Canada and Mexico starting tomorrow. Both Canada and Mexico will be tariffed 25% across the board.

This should make US consumer prices to skyrocket overnight. I hope these fools get what they deserve.

Rage harder.

Maybe it will change things.

Have you tried yelling at the sky?

Your helpless impotent anger brightens my mood every time you rant.

More, please.
