Dude is not a good judge of Korea or America. And he reads like another chinabot.

Sure. But SK’s average income, per capital income, purchase power, all higher than Japan, and the gap grows wider every year. Kpop maybe fake, but look at all the foreign girls of all kinds coming over to shackle up with Korean guys. You don’t see that for Japanese guys. Jealousy is strong.

S.Korea in the AI age. But Japan, still stuck in 1985 with their floppy drives, still unable to enter the digital age that Korea entered in 1998 after Kim Dae Jung took over the country, initiating much of the reforms. Japan is still a one party country, ruled by the same oligarchs (politicians are by births, taking up their father’s positions).

SK is far more dynamic with better future, versus a stale static Japan which is now competing with SEA. Lot of Koreans go over to Japan because it’s so cheap, almost cheap as SEA. Thirty percent of foreign tourists in Japan are South Koreans. The other thirty percent are Chinese.
