Picture of the Day: Putin Meets with North Korean Ruling Party Leader

Russian President Vladimir Putin (L) shakes hands with Ri Hi-yong, a member of the Politburo of North Korea’s ruling party, at the Kremlin on Feb. 27, 2025, in this photo released by the North’s official Korean Central News Agency on March 1. (Yonhap)
Two new US allies, standing with the US. The Axis of evil of three dictatorships.
Trump makes a deal with Putin to dump Russian oligarch money into his cryptocurrency to avoid international sanctions.
Trump orders stop any offensive and defensive cyberoperations against Russia. So all the cyber defenses against Russia are dropped.
Way ta go Donald, you’re turning your country into another Russian mafia.
“Trump orders stop any offensive and defensive cyberoperations against Russia.”
What is a “defensive cyberoperations AGAINST Russia”?
“So all the cyber defenses against Russia are dropped.”
Cyberdefense doesn’t really work like that.
“Intrusion on Server 5! Oh, wait, filter says they are Russian hackers. Open the firewall. Forward all ports to the mainframe. Run aes2plaintxt.exe for the nuclear codes. Presidential orders are presidential orders.”
You would be less of a laughing stock if you presented well-thought out arguments based on facts that you clearly understand instead of stinging buzzwords and fad concepts together and then making wild predictions that you treat as fact.
But you are necessary.
You act as a catalyst to bring out the reasonable thoughts of others.
My chemistry textbook says:
Korea Man (99.999% pure)
– 1 part anàl nitrate
– 2 parts fagnesium
Use: As a catalyst to convert some of the dumbest concepts known to man into rational thought.
Properties: Repellent for women. Toxic if consumed. Similar to laughing gas with mild exposure.
Warning: Prolonged exposure may cause cognitive decline. Keep away from children (for other reasons).

Aligned with Russia means you’re allied with Russia.
Norway yesterday, refused a US naval ship to dock and refuel – because you are now aligned with the enemy. And all the countries that are allied with the US need to think about this. The US is now a compromised country, a serious risk to countries in Nato as well as South Korea. Critical intelligence information could go over to Russia, then onto China and North Korea. I see no unified opposition inside the US to all this, none at all. What a disgrace. Your forefather’s deaths guarding Democracy were all for nothing.
I’ll just leave this here.

“Norway yesterday, refused a US naval ship to dock and refuel – because you are now aligned with the enemy”
A private Norwegian company whined around about Slava Ukraina and not supplying fuel becasue America no longer wants to pay for Europe’s problem that Europe created.
The Norwegian government walked that back quick-smart.
It turns out Europe can’t solve the problem Europe created so they don’t want Uncle Sam to go home.
But Uncle Sam is about to become a touchy uncle.
ChickenHead
Why don’t you admit the obvious and just state that you support Russia and look forward to the USA joining a grand alliance with Russia, North Korea, and China?
That’ll make things much simpler.
Here is the deal:
A good relationship with Russia serves American interests, possibly more than a good relationship with the EU. Russia has much to offer America and is not much competition.
Ukraine is the EU’s problem. They started it, they own it, they need to solve it. Ot not. Not America’s business.
China is competition in many ways. Under Trump’s first term America reduced reliance on China. This greatly accelerated under Biden. This indicates the strategy is a Deep State goal rather than a presidential whim.
Now that many strategic Asian factories, from TSMC to Samsung are moving to America and America is developing funamental supply chains that once relied on China, conflict with China is an eventuality. There are MANY indicators of what is to come.
North Korea doesn’t matter. They are not useful except to convince the public that an expensive missile defense shield is necessary. They are useful to South Korea’s future rocket and nuclear industry.
There will be no grand alliance with China and NK.
There are shared interests with Russia and no gain in bickering with them over whatever silliness the EU has gotten involved in.
There won’t be an “alliance” with them (against the EU?) but there won’t be active conflict or sabotage… until the reward outweighs the current benefits.
Then, America will happily encourage their breakup and looting, after mastering the skill with Ukraine.
A good relationship with Russia serves American interests, possibly more than a good relationship with the EU. Russia has much to offer America and is not much competition.
So ChickenHead admits that MAGA is on the side of Russia. A simple yes would have sufficed.
No doubt ChickenHead and @setnaffa are Russiabots.
There will be no grand alliance with China and NK.
Why the contradiction?
It’s obvious Russia, China, and NK along with Iran are a one team.
It would look bad if you were to exclude the other three.
Unless of course, your whites only racism is clouding your better judgement.
“your whites only racism”
If you lump me in with the filthy Irish one more time…
“So ChickenHead admits that MAGA is on the side of Russia.”
No. ChickenHead stated that (currently) there is no gain in manufacturing a conflict with Russia.
Making stuff up and pretending it proves some silly aspect of your indoctrination does not make you the master of debate.
You are starting to be less fun as you transition from stupid to irrational.
No. ChickenHead stated that (currently) there is no gain in manufacturing a conflict with Russia.
Chicken Head May I remind again your words
A good relationship with Russia serves American interests, possibly more than a good relationship with the EU. Russia has much to offer America and is not much competition.
From the words above, you are saying you will ditch your traditional and democratic European allies for a nation which was once what Ronald Reagan, a well known conservative and member of the Republican Party stated was “an evil empire.” Ronald Reagan was also tough on the Soviet Union, and was also a proponent of peace through strength.
So yes Chicken Head did say that he and the MAGA crowd are fully siding with Russia.
As I said.
Just admit the obvious.
Why are you so cowardly when it comes to admitting that you like Russia, support them, and would like to be allies with them?
1. Having a good relationship with Russia does not mean “ditch your traditional and democratic European allies”. America can be friendly with both as they fight it out. Not America’s business. This is in keeping with your noisy demands that America needs to be more liked.
2. “a nation which was once what Ronald Reagan, a well known conservative and member of the Republican Party stated was “an evil empire.”
You do realize the Soviet Union and Russia are two different entities in a similar fashion as the United States and the Confederacy.
America is no longer locked in some ideological war with the Soviet Union pushing communism on the world. One could argue Russia’s ideology of no child trannies, no men in women’s sports, and stop shoving gay in our face, is somewhat superior to the last 4 years of American insanity.
Let’s recap:
– It is not a good strategy for you to make stuff up, argue against it, and declare victory. Everyone here has reading comprehension skills above a 6 year-old.
– it is possible to not be Russia’s enemy and not be the EU’s enemy. There are many examples where nations take no sides in a conflict that doesn’t involve them. Sometimes they benefit after the conflict.
– Don’t judge Today’s Russia by Soviet standards.
Again ChickenHead your words;
A good relationship with Russia serves American interests, possibly more than a good relationship with the EU. Russia has much to offer America and is not much competition.
From your statement above
a) You stated that it is better to have a good relationship with Russia than a good relateionship with EU.
So in other words you are saying that you would prefer the US ditch the EU and instead have a strong relationship with Russia.
Why do you say it and then deny it?
Why do you MAGAs have trouble admitting the obvious? Are you cowards?
America is no longer locked in some ideological war with the Soviet Union pushing communism on the world
Tell that to the likes of @setnaffa, @Flyingsword, who sees “commies” everywhere and thinks that those who do not agree with them are “commies.”
“From your statement above
a) You stated that it is better to have a good relationship with Russia than a good relateionship with EU.
So in other words you are saying that you would prefer the US ditch the EU and instead have a strong relationship with Russia.”
No, it turns out I can be fùcking two girls at once.
I don’t have to ditch one.
I prefer the slightly crazy one because she has big tìts. The other one isn’t much to look at and is a bit of a whiner, but she is harmless and comfortable. No reason to let her go.
See how that works?
Geopolitics is not much different than drinking a fifth of Jack, popping some Viagra, and hitting the club.
ChickenHead
You did state that you would prefer the US ditch the EU and instead have a strong relationship with Russia.
Why do you say it and then deny it?
Is lying, being cowardly, not admitting that you were wrong, and denying the obvious, characteristics of the MAGA crowd and Setnaffarians?
KM, Russia isn’t communist. Soviet Union fell a long time ago.
Soviet Union fell a long time ago.
Ah yes.
But you forget, that Putin feels that Russia is the successor of the Soviet empire.
Soviet Union as a nation might not exist, but Putin no doubt wants to restore the Soviet Union to its former glory.
You Setnaffarians should stop dicking around and admit the obvious. That you support Putin and look forward to allying with him. No doubt eventually you want to hand the United States of America to Putin.
Does anybody know why the left HATES Russia so much?
I know… but I want to see if anybody else has figured it out.
Once you see it, you can never unsee it.
Need I say more?

Sweet jebus, Korea Person.
I see where you get you misinformation and childish worldview.
There are people out there dumber than you.
Chilling.
There are people out there dumber than you.
Chilling.
Says the poorly educated redneck with very low brain power, who is guillble to fake news and misinformation.
Dude relies on “threads” for “news”? That’s Meta…
And evidence enough to disregard anything else he spews.
I asked several chatbots to compare and contrast X, Bluesky, and Threads. All tried to fluff up flaccid reviws of Dorsey and Zuckerberg; but the fact is X is the only one where conservative voices are actually permitted.
Who said X doesn’t have posts of the US being part of Russia?
