“Liam Neeson is donating US$1,515 to a fund preparing for Korean reunification (US$1=W1,177).
The Hollywood star, who is to play Gen. Douglas Macarthur in a patriotic movie about the Korean War, worked out the sum as $915 from Sept. 15, the date of the amphibious Incheon Landing in 1953, and US$10 per month for the next five years, by which time he believes reunification will be achieved.”
Five years? I think I’ll take the over on that one. 🙂
#1: “Five years? I think I’ll take the over on that one.”
If we’re talking about the ROK and NK governments negotiating and signing a formal peace treaty (which would need to come first) and a subsequent unification, then I agree: Five years would be very optimistic, especially considering that the Kim regime currently has no pressing reason to enter into such negotiations.
However, if the North Korean regime were to collapse, then the process could be accelerated due to exigent circumstances. If (*cough*) certain countries would stop propping up the Kim regime — preferably before NK obtains a deployable nuclear arsenal…
Liam Neeson doesn’t know who they are. He doesn’t know what they want. If they are looking for a payout, he can tell them he had money.
He also has a very particular set of skills, skills he has acquired over a very long career.
Model Janice Dickinson claimed Liam Neeson is hung like a water bottle, biggest she’s ever seen

And here I thought the only thing I had in common with Liam Neeson was our like of blue cheese.
