Here is an interesting read that debunks the claim that Philando Castille was pulled over by the police so many times because he was driving while black:
By all accounts, Philando Castile was pulled over each of those 46 times for wholly legitimate reasons. Many of the stops appear to have been related to the suspension of his driver’s license. When your license gets suspended, a note to that effect gets flagged on your vehicle registration record. When a police officer runs your plate number, they will note that information, creating the reasonable suspicion that you may be driving illegally. That’s cause for a stop.
Police are not racist for enforcing the law which if you read the whole article the Black Lives Matter group is advocating for less enforcement of minor traffic violations. I for one do not want people without license or insurance driving on the streets and want the cops to enforce these laws.

PJmedia does not convince me Serviceyourselfmember.
SEOUL, South Korea — North Korea’s state radio has recently broadcast strings of indecipherable numbers, Seoul officials said Tuesday, in a possible resumption of a Cold War-era method of sending coded messages to spies operating in South Korea.
A female announcer at the radio station read numbers for 2 minutes on June 24 and 14 minutes on Friday, according to Seoul’s Unification Ministry and National Intelligence Service. A copy of those comments provided by the ministry included phrases such as “No. 35 on Page 459” and “No. 55 on Page 913.”
The Red Dog is Blue. Indeed.
Anyways, I like this line:
He said it’s unlikely the North would rely on old-fashioned “number stations” broadcasts, whose hard-to-reset coding patterns had already been exposed to South Korean intelligence officers. He said North Korea currently uses a more sophisticated espionage communication method known as steganography, in which secret messages are hidden within audio and video files.
The Bold part reminds me of some things said during the early events after 9/11. Our NSA guys said that al Qaida and Company were using pron video files to send hidden encrypted messages. I always assumed someone got busted looking at pron at their desk, and made up a quick excuse, but then again, I’m no crypto geek.
CH, do you have an opinion on crypto-pron? Anybody else?
I guess you can’t use BOLD on this page. This was the line I tried to make stand out:

Decoding it beats the hell out of penciling out the letters of a one-time cypher!
Now for my next crypto joke… if WordPress will eat it…

It rendered fine for me… with seemingly random horizontal characters impossibly ovlaying a smaller set of almost unrecognizable seemingly random vertical characters which of course integrate into the answer when oriented along a tensor composed of the closest prime number rounded up from the sum of intersecting characters when transposed into a three dimensional matrix using the Unicode value as the Z depth.
If you can’t code for intersection-modulated tensor recursion without avoiding buffer overflow in the prime inversion stack or the GPUs in your brute force box can’t complete the task this century, I will give you the answer.
I get the vertical and horizontal gibberish on my phone, but don’t have a clue how to do the decryption. Wasn’t really a skill set I developed. Maybe I should in this modern era.
On my work computer I get horizontal gibberish, but the vertical is diagonal in some areas.
First two echelons, 10th and 11th, 21st, then the final 5 are all diagonal.
And I haven’t coded since High School. BASIC, Pascal and Forth were the only languages taught, and most of that had to be self taught. I went back to auto shop…

MTB,
Don’t bother encrypting anything.
Your encryption is what the government uses as an excuse for torture.
OK, I’m usually pro cop since days or weeks later the truth comes out, but I’m at a loss on this one. Autistic young man wanders away from group home, caretaker goes to fetch him back. Someone calls the PD, says there is a guy with a gun, threatening suicide. Cops arrive, caretaker gets on ground with hands up and tries to talk the autistic kid into laying down as well. Video stops, cop shoots, caretaker goes to the hospital with one in the leg.
Really? What the hell happened in the few seconds between the end of the video and the trigger pull?
@MTB Rider, yeah that is a pretty strange story. It was actually a good thing the guy was laying on the ground with his hands up because it may have made it harder for the cop to shoot him center of mass thus saving his life. The only thing I can think of is that the guy maybe lowered his arms and it spooked the cop? It seems like a policeman should have more reason than that to shoot someone. Too bad we don’t have video of the whole incident to confirm what happened.
Also I like how the media is hyping this as the police shooting an unarmed black man in order to race bait as much as possible. If an unarmed (enter race here) guy was shot in similar situation the media would hardly care.

Male escorts are making crazy money at the Republican National Convention
“We are going to ask every Department Head in government to provide a list of wasteful spending projects that we can eliminate in my first 100 days.”
My first thought was he would get a list from the DoD of bases they want closed and weapon systems they don’t want. Then I realized all those programs have congressional defenders and no president can unilaterally eliminate them.
It seems to me that most programs a chief executive may want to eliminate will have congressional protection, are well funded by congress and bring in significant revenue to someone’s district.
Can anyone think of any program a president can unilaterally eliminate that can return any meaningful money to the budget?
This goes to the crux of political pandering of promising things they can’t do.
@JoeC, I always felt that the people who push the eliminate wasteful spending narrative should first start with their own staff and perks that are wasteful. If Trump is elected he should have the power to reduce his White House staff just like general officers in the military are now experiencing with staff cut backs.

Interesting story about a Korean who murdered his best friend… or did he?
I know no one is going to believe this, but Wikileaks published some of the DNC’s internal e-mails and GUESS WHAT?!?!?!?!
The DNC was discussing ways of sabotaging the Sanders campaign! OMG!!!
Even more shocking:
The press was cooperating with the DNC on a lot of their efforts!!
Now reports are that DNC Chair, Debbie Washer-Machine Schultz, has been barred from speaking at the Democratic Convention.
The Democrats are still hosting the mothers of black guys killed while committing criminal acts, though. Probably just an insurance policy against the place getting burnt down.
