Two days, and no comments on the Open Thread? Let me fix that:
http://www.upi.com/Top_News/World-News/2016/09/06/Report-China-builds-new-detention-center-for-North-Korea-refugees/3901473177315/

China has built what is claimed to be a Detention Center for North Korean Defectors.
Well, that, or for norK soldiers who come across the border to raid for food and money.

While Fatty Kim will, of course, want ALL his people back, I’m wondering if the magic White Envelopes so popular in South Korea may find their way into this new building to “misplace” the paperwork and let some of the refugees move on to Laos or the other countries that act as an underground railroad for the North Koreans who have had enough waiting.

RNC Donors pay for Drumpf quintupling rent prices on his own campaign when he stopped self-funding

A new report shows many of the G.O.P. nominee’s campaign expenditures are boosting his own businesses.
https://www.google.com/amp/www.vanityfair.com/news/2016/08/donald-trump-campaign-expenditures/amp
“Compared to his Democratic rival and Republican predecessors, Donald Trump is running a bargain-basement presidential campaign. Last month, the G.O.P. nominee spent just $18.5 million—less than half as muchas Hillary Clinton. But since Trump transitioned from self-funding to relying on donors to get him to the White House, his campaign spending has surged—particularly when the money is going to the billionaire’s own businesses.”

Loser Drumpf loses tonight but why was Hillary interrogated(by Matt Lauer) about emails on a night or forum about veterans?

As Reuters reported, despite the “Commander-in-Chief Forum” being geared toward veterans’ issues, Lauer opened the show by asking Clinton about her emails and interrupting her during her answers. 😕

2 Drumpf quotes below from or defended tonight, much more later…

“There will be all new generals because they’re losers/rubble!”

“What was most shocking is that told me in the briefing room that the intelligence experts(CIA) were mad that President Barack Obama did not take their advice.”

“What did the geniuses expect”(when women “servicemembers” got “raped” after opening their legs for “servicemembers)?

Donald Trump Proposes Larger Military With Less to Do

But if Drumpf did not drool then Drumpf did good?
https://www.google.com/amp/amp.timeinc.net/time/4482334/donald-trump-military-foreign-policy/%3fsource=dam
“Citing figures prepared by the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank, Trump called for a Navy with 350 ships and submarines,”

Let’s just stop there…Drumpf claims that under Obama the # of ships decreased about a dozen so he will increase the # by 70+? So how much does each ship cost?

I thought the GOP was against raising taxes???

The forum was billed as interviews on national security, military affairs, and veteran issues.

The email issue most definitely pertains to national security.

One of the best parts of having a strong military is that they will have less to do.

When not wrapped up in foreign entanglements, the military is often helping in disaster relief or volunteer efforts in surrounding communities.

Fire in the Hole!
https://pjmedia.com/news-and-politics/2016/09/08/suspected-fifth-north-korea-nuclear-test-also-the-biggest-says-seoul/

“Possible explosion, located near the location where North Korea has detonated nuclear explosions in the past,” the USGS said of the magnitude 5.3 event. “If this is indeed an explosion, the USGS National Earthquake Information Center cannot determine what type of explosion it may be, whether nuclear or any other possible type.”

Not in this article, but another one said the initial estimates put this into the 10KT range, under the 15KT range of Hiroshima and under the 20KT range of Nagasaki.

There is some thought that this one might be small enough to fit to a missile warhead.

Fatty Kim keeps marching in one direction, not pausing to “Make a Deal.”
Maybe we should do something about it?

Nope. Remember it clearly. 15 Saudi Arabians, and a mix of two United Arab Emiratis, an Egyptian and a Lebanese attacked us. There was one more guy, but apparently he overslept. Got him later, and tossed him into the Supermax in Colorado to rot. We hit back in Afghanistan, but called off taking out bin-Laden at his hideout at Tora-Bora because it was “too dangerous.” Ended up watching him slip away out the back door. Things sort of petered out after that.

Later, Bush gave a rousing speech where he said “al-Qaida and Iraq” several times, without linking the two in any meaningful way. But by God, we were going to kick some Raghead A55, and off we went. (I was in training to be a teacher. The kids asked me what I thought would happen in Iraq. I said the initial military action was already over, and we had won. The U.S. is Aces at busting tanks, and Iraq had a lot of tanks. The “Fourth Largest Army in the World” didn’t have a chance. As for what would happen next, I really didn’t have a warm, fuzzy that things would wrap themselves up neatly afterwards as we were being sold on in 2003.)

Years later, we sort of wandered away from Iraq, decided that even though Quadaffi had turned in his WMDs, he had to go, then as long as we’re at it, let’s kick al-Assad’s butt too.

So, here we are, 15 years later. bin-Laden is dead (or so they say. Buried at sea, and still no leaked pics from any sailors on the Carl Vinson. Google has maybe one night vision shot from the SEALs that got him), Quadaffi is dead, al-Assad is holding tough, ISIS is causing all sorts of trouble, al-Qaida itself is pretty much nothing, Afghanistan is a crap hole, Iran got an F-Ton of money, and we can now fly to Cuba, even though their human rights situation still sucks.

So… Victory? Meh.

Well, when you hire folks as “competent” as Barry and Uncle Joe, you not only lose the victories you had already bought but allies, credibility, and etc…

Not saying Dubya was the best choice at the time, just that what followed made him look honest and intelligent.

“Trump and Hillary walk into a bakery on the Campaign Trail.

As soon as they enter the bakery, Hillary steals three pastries and puts them in her pocket.

She says to Trump, “See how clever I am? The owner didn’t see anything and I don’t even need to lie. I will definitely win the election.”

Trump says to Hillary, “That’s the typical dishonesty you have displayed throughout your entire life–trickery and deceit. I am going to show you an honest way to get the same result.”

Trump goes to the owner of the bakery and says, “Give me a pastry and I will show you a magic trick.” Intrigued, the owner accepts and gives him a pastry. Trump swallows it and asks for another one. The owner gives him another one. Then Donald asks for a third pastry and eats that, too.
The Bakery owner is starting to wonder where the magic trick is and asks, “What did you do with the pastries?”

Trump replies, “Look in Hillary’s pocket”…”

The big news is, as the MSM reports it, Hillary’s “stumble” after overheating at the 9/11 memorial ceremony.

Even a single viewing of the two videos currently available show there to be no stumbling… because, well, you have to be walking to be stumbling.

She was clearly propped against a post while waiting for her van to arrive. Once the van pulled up, she was held under her arms where she bobbed back and forth unsteadily while her ankle buckled. As she was carried to the van, feet dragging, her head went down and it was clear none of the movement was under her power.

Secret Service closed in to block the view… but it seems the kinda tossed her into the van head first, as she never reappears in the small space one would expect her head to appear if she had climbed into the van.

…and much of the media calls this a “stumble”.

For the good of America and the integrity of the democratic process, let’s all pray she lasts long enough to lose the election fair and square.

Then she can begin her long, slow, painful, shameful decline in a prison hospital.

After first being given an opportunity to repent her sins, of course…

It will be VERY interesting to see how the debates go.

Can Hillary stand for an hour and debate Trump without falling down or having a coughing fit?

…or will the Democrats make unworkable demands for the debate and then try to blame Trump if he declines.

It seems Hillary juat wants to get elected to secure her legacy as the first woman president… and her backers just want someone in office they can control… her or whatever that vice presidential pick was… they likely don’t care.

This train wreck of a campaign she is running with the collusion of much of the media will certainly make the history books.

More-so if there is some kind of incident during the debate.

She is going to need an earpiece and a couple lines of coke to make it through that.

Interesting times.

I suspect there is a chance that the uptick in medical incidents for her could be a way to drop out gracefully and leave an opening for Biden, instead of being forced out dishonorably if the Wikileaks bombshell really is that bad and ruins the election cycle for the democrats. That and the possibility that her true polling numbers could be much lower than reported.

Then again, the Clinton machine doesn’t seem to recognize that the political landscape and information distribution techniques have changed. People don’t trust the media anymore. They probably believe they can pull off anything. They may still be able to.

Johnnyboy,

“I suspect there is a chance that the uptick in medical incidents for her could be a way to drop out gracefully”

There have been so many faux-angry denials over accusations of ill health and such an orchestrated effort to ridicule those who have made them, Hillary has cornered herself in that area. She cannot drop out for health reasons without being branded an obvious liar… which she already is… but never admits to… so her supporters justify and rationalize away her lies as long as she doesn’t admit to them.

“and leave an opening for Biden”

The Democratic party seems to have bet the farm on this single Hillary basket of eggs. There has been no real groundwork laid for Biden… and the closer it gets to election day, the harder it becomes to make a case to vote for him.

“instead of being forced out dishonorably if the Wikileaks bombshell really is that bad and ruins the election cycle for the democrats.”

This will be interesting. It seems pretty clear that Assange is threatening Hillary (and Obama and Democratic party)… meaning they likely know exactly what he has and he is trying to negotiate freedom and safe passage.

The interesting thing about Wikileaks is how this was once called journalism… getting a scoop. Wikileaks is not opinion nor tabloid. It is simply the facts… yet much of the “media” openly hates it… and the government goes after it in a way it could never go after the press Back in the Day.

“That and the possibility that her true polling numbers could be much lower than reported.”

One suspects secret internal polling paints a more realistic picture… which has panicked Hillary into ridiculing Trump supporters instead of ridiculing Trump… and has guided Trump’s evolution from the loud and abrasive that won him the primary against a group of wussies to a more thoughtful and measured candidate openly doing presidential things.

The Clinton machine must recognize the new information distribution landscape, which they have defined as alt-right, but are still counting on the Democratic base…

…which, best that can be observed, are low-information MSM-led uneducated voters, single-issue voters (e.g. global warming), those caught in tradition (unaware the currwnt Democratic party is not their Dad’s party), and idealist who chose to remain blind to reality no matter how much information they are given (notice all the messenger-attacking from Democrats and liberal media).

Poor minorities have gotten nothing from Democrats except crumbs and a minimalist lifestyle of dependence (but many will still vote along racial lines). Anti-American nationalists (e.g. Mexicans with loyalty to Mexico) will vote for Hillary. Anti-white racists will vote for Hillary (just as they did for Obama).

Labor would be crazy to vote for Hillary (and seems to recognize this).

Polls show 54% of military would vote for Trump with 25% for Hillary… which is rather disturbing. Hopefully those polls are fake… though perhaps 25% of the military being uninformed self-destructive dummies not concerned with security or thoughtful warefare is not an unreasonable estimate.

This is all going to be really, really interesting.

If only they had spent their “Nuke Weapons” money on Infrastructure Repairs instead:
http://www.cnn.com/2016/09/12/asia/north-korea-floods-admission/index.html

According to a report published Sunday by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) — North Korea’s official state media — the country’s northeast has been affected by the “heaviest downpour” since 1945, with “tens of thousands” of buildings destroyed and people left homeless and “suffering from great hardship.”

So, 133 confirmed dead, around 400 missing, and 140,000 in Urgent Need of Assistance.

Maybe dams, river channels, flood control projects and drainage would have been the smarter move. Not as flashy and showy, sure, but better for the people.

Of course, any aid sent in will be rebranded as “Tribute,” sent in fear of Fatty Kim’s mighty weapons of mass destruction.

Satnaffa…

Yes. Uncle Joe is creepy… unelectably creepy… and, if for some reason, he is promoted due to Hillary’s failings, he will be very low hanging fruit for a Trump attack ad.

While the liberal media pesters Trump about mild or imaginary misogyny, they ignore Uncle Joe’s creepiness, Bill Clinton’s actual and alleged actions, and Hillary’s enthusiastic and bragging defense of a real child raapist as well as “standing by her man”.

As the widespread internet has changed the information gathering paradigm, the Clinton Machine seems unaware all this information is available… to those who are looking for it.

It is highly possible Hillary can’t make it to election day with some sort of health/mental meltdown. It is improbable there is a viable replacement for her.

Best case, she hangs to election day and is easily defeated. Worst case, she flakes out before that and the entire election is thrown into chaos.

The sad part is that Trump means well… but after the election, really smart people with impeccable credentials are going to inform him the only way to avoid total collapse of the System is global war… and he will be forced to choose the lesser of several incredible evils… and will likely get the blame for them… even though the roots grew long ago.

In reality, Trump will do the best that can be expected. He will surround himself with competent no-nonsense advisers and make the best choices in some really hard decisions.

Most people have no idea what is coming.

Fuuuuuk… look around… most people have no idea what is in front of them… right here, right now.
