North Korea Criticizes China for Sanctions Enforcement

Part of me wonders if this whole Chinese enforcement of sanctions and North Korea’s reaction is all for show to appease the Trump administration in the short term while nothing really changes in the long term?:

North Korea has apparently asked China not to step up anti-North sanctions, warning of “catastrophic consequences” in their bilateral relations.

Pyongyang issued the warning through commentary written by a person named Jong Phil on its official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), which was released Saturday.

It’s rare for Pyongyang’s media to level criticism at Beijing, though the KCNA didn’t directly mention China in the commentary titled “Are you good at dancing to the tune of others” and dated Friday.

The commentary instead called the nation at issue “a country around the DPRK,” using North Korea’s official name, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.  [Yonhap]

The goal is for North Korea to stop testing nukes and missiles.

If China enforces sanctions… or doesn’t enforce sanctions… or sits and spins on an eggroll… it is of no concern.

There is no appeasement. There are only actions that achieve results or do not.

Things have already changed in the long term. China has simply been given a chance to help that change not be enforced with violence.

I completely agree. Trump will not be president forever.

The wise thing for North Korea to do is halt all nuclear and missile testing while concentrating on theoretical work and support technology… for the next 4 to 8 years.

In fact, they should go on a slick propaganda offensive to court American liberals and other assorted snowflakes… the same ones who swear Venezuela is a sociialist paradise and voted for Hillary while whacking off to Bernie.

North Korea can tout free education, free medical care, free abortion on demand, strict gun control, constitutionally protected women’s rights, no evidence of racism or racial profiling, a liberal euthanasia policy, big government to watch over citizens, leadership not bought off by Wall Street, true separation of church and state, low greenhouse gas emissions, decades of giving permanent residency to illegal immigrants, and a sixty year history of not being involved in foreign conflicts or misguided attempts at nationbuilding.

Then they paint any conservative candidate as an unstable egotistical fascist and imperialist with his finger on the nuclear button looking to oppress his own people while waging war.

Once another weak liberal president gets elected they can start testing their stockpile of bombs and missiles… or bombs on missiles… whatever.

Shiiiit… I should demand a big budget and work for North Korea. I can sell ketchup popsicles to a woman in new white gloves. A liberal wet dream like that sells itself to dim liberal voters.

Easy peasy kimchee squeezy.
