In Korea illegally (visa overstay), if you had an airline ticket and US passport in hand, you go thru immigration; no fines or arreast..but could not go back to SK.
Does anyone know if that program will be repeated? When? What is policy now?
They gave a immigration number at Incheon 032-740-7391 (x2) or Korean immigration at 02-2110-4081 but I cannot get numbers to work because I don’t know correct prefix from US (any help with that ?) bonbru92101@yahoo.com

I call the Bearest consulate once, all they said was “GRRR!”

The one up in Jellystone Park takes picnic baskets in lieu of cash. Ask for Yogi.
On the other hand, there are Korean Consulates in at least Houston and San Francisco.
