I think it is pretty clear that the Chinese government is using the North Korea issue to put pressure on the ROK to remove the THAAD battery:

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi asked South Korea on Friday to resolve the issue of an advanced U.S. missile defense system deployed on the peninsula.
Wang made the request in bilateral talks with his South Korean counterpart, Kang Kyung-wha, in Singapore on the margins of annual ASEAN-hosted sessions, according to a South Korean government official.
He cited the need for a “compete resolution” to the matter, a repeat of Beijing’s demand, which comes amid a peace mood in Korea. [Yonhap]
Not an issue China has any place to demand anything. If they didn’t want THAAD here should not have stepped in to help nK in 1950. Everything happening today is a direct result of Red China’s decision in 1950.

PRC knows Moon is craven. If it leaves Korea, you can bet two will go up in Japan. Along with all the US troops and their money. And the companies that relied on US troops for stability.
Moon might need to get a loan from rocketboy if that happens…

PRC is putting up their own system which will look I to South Korea.
THAAD is here and operating….unfortunately the ROKs can’t clear the road to the site of nK / commie moon supporters so everything is having to be flown to that site….the next Fire Base Gloria.

Flyingsword, B-52s saved Khe Sanh from division-sized attacks. And the technology is better now.
What is more important is we have a President with the spinal stamina to make peace or “do the necessary” to defend America. And the rest of the world knows it.
