That top-only desert camo is probably more effective than the full uniform.
Snipers would be too dumbfounded to shoot.
“Say, look at those pants running along all by themselves. That’s the damnedest thing I ever saw.”
And the guy behind him with the new Bed Bath and Beyond camo will blend right in at the linens and draperies department.

I’m just amazed by the Velcro blood group ID patches on the soldiers the politician is meeting…
Maybe the Ahk Group doesn’t wear dogtags? Or maybe they think metal tags on a light chain are more likely to be lost than patches temporarily stuck to the sleeve of an outer garment?
Or maybe they’re just not combat troops?
Just silly questions, I’m sure…

Those aren’t blood types. By Article 472 of the UAE Military Legal Code:
“All members of the military are required to wear a patch attached to their issued uniform which prominently displays their cumulative grade in all military-related courses, Failure to do so is punishable by beheading.”

There a big need for HALO qualified personnel in the UAE? (I’m assuming their HALO is the same as ours).
Setnaffa the blood type patches are important because there are a lot of sharp nails involved in that construction project their probably doing and you don’t want someone poking their finger and receiving the wrong type of transfusion.

CH, my initial response was Yemini Cricket! But, of course, that’s just silly…
