So… Who manufactured the vehicle? Where is their export license? I thought there were supposed to be sanctions to prevent this sort of thing from happening.

Seems like someone isn’t playing by the rules.

MTB, Juche!!! Don’t doubt the indomitable spirit of the people’s labors!!!! They have formed a people’s army who is one with the people and march together in lock step unity creating a glorious father land rejecting the bourgeoisie class and throwing of the dogmas of capitalism and their running dog lackeys!!! This is the spirit and labor that created this glorious rocket system!!! (Ok the Chinese helped a little……)

Like I said before, the real enemy is across the East Sea. They just won’t apologize enough for the comfort women situation. No need to worry about the rocket launchers to the north.

Two things come to mind seeing this report and picture:

1. Is this another cardboard mock-up like was shown a few years ago in a Pyongyang parade?

2. DANG! FB3 (Fatboy the Third) is getting LARGE! I don’t think he could fit into the launch tubes on that thing.

Unsurprising that comments in here are retarded and or idiotic.

To MBT Rider: Do not ask question only for you to answer yourself with assertions and conjectures then making a claim hence your comment is in category of an oxymoron. It is clear that you believe as certain that they didn’t manufacture it or was imported illegally, yet if you bothered to invest a couple minutes at most to fact check you would have found out that North Korea imported RM-70 system during Cold War and has been producing domestically.

Also Flyingwords and Tagum City Tim are full of shit.

To johnhenry: Cardboard mock-ups… Are you retarded or just willfully ignorant/stupid?

Seriously, you people can’t bother to do any fact checking, imbeciles.

well look at the big brain on Kravata 🙄 . A chinese troll shit poster, nice.

The RM-70 was important and locally produced and is a 122mm MRL system, the vehicle it uses is a Tatra 813 8×8 truck chassis pictured is not a Tatra 813. Completely different cab design etc.

The truck for this MRL is most likely a modified Chinese-made Sinotruk HOWO truck. In China a dual use vehicle, used in commercial mining as well as the truck for Chinese MRL.

Since 2006 it has been against sanctions to export military equipment to nK, but the Chinese could have easily gotten around this by painting the vehicle yellow and filling out ‘mining truck’ on the documents; or nK modified it for their own purposes after receiving said ‘mining’ truck.

As I said that you are full of shit and you prove my point by calling a Croat a Chinese troll shit poster.

Did you even bother to read what was written below the picture you are mentioning? What is it written? I’l answer whar it isn’t, M1993 which the article was reffering to which is this:
comment image?resize=768%2C432&ssl=1

How hard is for you to do proper fact checking? Not even a minute to see what North Korean M1993 MLRS looks like.

You ignorant moron assume I am ignorant while you demonstrate ignorance, idiot.

Ill-mannered postings in defense of fratricidal tyrants seems to be a bad look…

Not-Chinese, eh? Okay:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Croats
“Scholars have hypothesized the name Croat (Hrvat) may be Iranian, thus suggesting that the Croatians were possibly a Sarmatian tribe from the Pontic region who were part of a larger movement at the same time that the Slavs were moving toward the Adriatic.”

However, he(?) neatly ties up all the loose ends:

So the Croat on the Chinese pay roll and I have no idea why he is talking about a M1993, which is a 122mm MRL system, at no point in time was a M1993 talked about. MTB talked where the truck chassis may have come from and the picture is clearly not a 122mm system and the truck is clearly not a M1993 truck chassis. Have already discussed the difference in chassis type. So does he have a point or is he just drunk on cheap Chinese alcohol?

To setnaffa: Ill mannered postings? So what you hypocrite and if you’re going to label correcting people with facts as “defense” of tyrants then so be it, its your standards after all or just your interest for people to be misinformed.

The theory of Croats having Iranian origin in present only has real supporters in Iran and nowhere else, there is how ever odd peculiarity of having a lot of words similar or exact to Sanskrit with same meaning.
http://www.sutrajournal.com/sanskrit-in-croatia-from-sarasvati-to-hrvati-by-james-cooper

To Flyingsword: So because I don’t share your worldview that means I am on “Chinese pay roll”? If so, good, stay delusional/paranoid.

If you have no idea then you shouldn’t have made a comment that suggesting Chinese assistance nor should have MTB Rider who is the first one to make comment in here by asking question to answer himself hence oxymoron comment.

I mentioned M1993 MLRS due to truck/chassis being domestically produced Tatra-813 that was part of RM-70 system, for this MLRS it is not exactly the same because it is modified to carry far larger rockets.

To MTB Rider: Do basic research, if you bothered to actually do basic fact checking such as find more pictures of this MLRS then you would have seen similarities between it and RM-70 MLRS, that is involving the truck/chassis used as you questioned who manufactures it and clearly by content of your first comment that you assumed it was imported.

Your first comment in here is shitposting oxymoron, you call me a troll yet I correct idiots like you who can’t or are afraid to invest a minute or two in fact checking to face the truth.
