While the ruling elite private-jets off to exotic locations to find new ways to scold us over global warming, the biggest threat to mankind is (perhaps intentionally) overlooked. That is pandemic.
But I am OK with that.
The right pandemic will disproportionally affect the old, sick, weak, poor, uneducated, superstitious, unproductive, and progressive city-dwellers all living close together.

Yeah…I’m generally more inclined to believe incompetence is more likely than malice, but in this case it’s China. Where incompetence and malice aren’t so easily separated. For a place like China, isn’t a security breach (for something where simple incompetence would lead to the breach) that only a matter of time?
