You should see the airports here….
Last time my husband flew he took a video. No one to be seen with the exception of a vacuuming robot. He sent a video of it to me and texted, “Blaine is a pain”
(dark tower reference)

Around mid March when a few people were still flying he said it reminded him a bit of 1917 trench warfare.
Everyone was spread out, the aisle between them.
Whenever someone would clear their throat with a cough everyone would duck like it was incoming artillery.
He thought a social distancing whistle might be a useful product.
Hung around one’s neck next to the purell.
Now just about everyone has stopped flying, and all but one of his trips through May have been cancelled.

Given the China Syndrome is asymptomatic for two to three weeks, can the airport claim that and be honest? Not to mention, the symptoms for 99.44% are the same as seasonal allergies, regular flu, or even the common cold…

We use to call that “whistlin’ past the graveyard.

Speaking of which, precisely how many people without an underlying condition (i.e., diabetes, heart issues, lung issues, terminal cancer, compromised immune systems from radiation, chemo, or HIV/AIDS, etc.) Have died OF COVID-19, as opposed tothose assumed to have died WITH it.

What are their ages?

Except for healthcare workers early on (before we knew the Chinese and WHO were lying), how many “healthy” people under 70 caught it –and only it– and passed away?

It would be interesting to have accurate numbers. But I am rather cynical toward governments that close churches but leave bars, abortion clinics, and subways open…

There will never be anything accurate about the CCP virus, started with a cover-up and a lie and morphed into every government rigging the numbers to fit whatever narrative they want to force on their people…

Setnaffa, you are looking at this wrong.

Christians (and older conservative Christian voters) are being protected.

Drunkards, SJW sluts, big city lefty straphangers, and (don’t forget) Muslims are being endangered.

This may not be the intention of Democrat petty tyrants…

…but God works in mysterious ways.

CH, reread Psalam 91. It describes a lot that seems strangely appropriate.

And then think back to 1968/1969 when the government shut down everything over the Hong Kong Flu.

Oh. Wait. They didn’t.

The shutdown has harmed us enough that far more will die from unemployment, financial ruin, and disruptions in the supply chain than from the actual Wuhan Pox.

Thanks to the Chinese activists in our government and media. BTW, no one appears to be dying from anything except Chinese Lung AIDS these days…

Not saying you’re wrong, Setnaffa. But keep in mind when anyone speaks of inflating the numbers to fit comorbidities and so forth….folks who die of the flu (which is really “flu related causes”) are typically older and have a lot of comorbidities too. I doubt everyone who is on record as dying of fly related causes had a definitely swab test. Numbers we’ve surpassed during a lockdown. Not saying we shouldn’t restart and open up things (especially in states with relatively low population densities).

Not fly test, flu, dat. Think we should be realists. But everything is political now so we get outlier extremes in both camps (and a lot of false or partial information…which can be worse than ignorance).

I heard I was pretty fly for a white guy. But my wife told me I was too old to play with guns. 😎 😎 😎

Remember the Hong Kong Flu. This is no worse and maybe not as bad. Sorry for the CDC link; but they have the best information:

Flyingsword, your comment:

“and morphed into every government rigging the numbers to fit whatever narrative they want to force on their people…”

My reply: “Every government”?? Speak for your country. South Korea has been exceptionally transparent with number of infected.
