U.S. Marine Corps Reports 72 New Coronavirus Cases on Okinawa

This news is an indication of how much the coronavirus has spread throughout the U.S.:

People wear masks to guard against the coronavirus while strolling in Yokohama, Japan, Nov. 20, 2020

The U.S. Marine Corps announced 72 new cases of the coronavirus Monday on Okinawa, more than the service has reported there in over a month.

All those cases, divided between two bases, were discovered among personnel recently arrived from the United States and still in the 14-day isolation period, Marine Corps Installations Pacific said in a Facebook post.

Stars & Stripes

You can read more at the link, but with such high numbers I wonder if the Japanese government will eventually ask USFJ to suspend the arrival of new personnel?

Masks are worthless. What a scam.

“Cases”. Does that mean a positive test result? Elon Musk had 2 positive and 2 negative on the same day.

Does it mean “confirmed” cases? How were they confirmed? Were there symptoms? Have any been hospitalized?

Given they’re all young and presumably healthy, one expects they are liable to survive and not infect anyone.

However, those who consume XiNN and censor reports from John Hopkins will insist they are all plague carriers…

Here’s what I recommend for them: tinyurl com/Take-the-Bridge

As Flyingsword and setnaffa has alluded to, the US government has bunch of people who are bunch of liars. There is no deadly American virus going around, it’s all made up fake news!

Ole Tanker, if you believe some made-in-China-by-Uighur-slaves mask is effective protection against a virus, you’re in a higher risk category than you think. I think you have been led astray by the fake news out there.

Sure, I wear a mask at church — and at the store — for reasons I’ve given previously. Your latest posts spew foul language like a nancyboy on meth. C’mon now, man… Cut out the malarkey!! Nobody but you can affect your health.

I think I had it back in January or February when “something” went through our office and kept a bunch of us out for a few days. Never bothered to be tested because I haven’t shown symptoms since then (and there were no tests back then).

If anyone (Nudge Nudge Wink Wink Know who I mean? Eh?) is worried about their health, they should go to their doctor and follow professional medical advice.

The rest of us should avoid oral and nasal discharges in your general direction. Or toward anyone else, for that matter. Not good manners. And be sure to wash your hands anyway. There are many bugs more lethal to seniors with a comorbidity or five than the Wuhan Death Pox.

However. For a veteran to rag on Americans for expressing their 1st Amendment rights is pretty shameful. And pretty much in line with the Chinese trolls’ agitprop…

The County I live in had an infection rate of over 100/100k. After the mask mandate in October it went down to 70/100k. After the return to HPCON B, people thought it was safe. Parking lots crowded all the time, now It has gone to 150+/100k. The people who feed the virus are the 50% who refuse to wear a mask, don’t wear a mask correctly (open nose and loose), wear a worthless face coving, bandana worthless, single layer cloth worthless. I feel like we are trying witches in the middle ages, what I can’t see can’t hurt me! People! This is a highly contagious airborne virus we are dealing with. Healthy people the 99.9 % couldn’t care less if they infect someone as long as their lives aren’t inconvenienced in any way. These folks are the same ones who keep STD’s in business.

Ole Tanker: Some of this site’s regulars will accuse you of all kinds of nefarious stuff for pointing out those facts.

Tanker, just get the right advice and follow it. Don’t worry. It’s a virus and we’ll all eventually be exposed. The good news is that there may be three to five different vaccines approved and available by New Years.

Never worry about things outside your control. Just pray to God, thanking Him for the good things in your life, and turn it over to Him. And think about ways you can help the people around you.

BTW, Vitamin D is supposed to be good at boosting immunity. Ask your doctor what to do.

And get ready for a wonderful Christmas.

If you are in a high-risk category, self-isolate.

If you are not, carry on and keep the world functioning for everyone. Maybe you will have a few days of discomfort with mild cold symptoms.

Or perhaps destroying society to save a small number of selfish old sick people is the right way to do things. Who knows?

It’s a bit like global warming being preached by scolds flying around in private jets. The people loudly pushing the dangers of Chinkpox-19 at small gatherings have no problem gathering with friends and family… or supporting crowded BLM/Antifa riots.

It seems if you are not in on the joke, you ARE the joke.

So I will take Chinkpox-19 seriously when the people who tell me to take it seriously start taking it seriously themselves.

Chicken Head, It’s kind of tuff to self isolate when you go to the store for Groceries. Some redneck no mask saddles up to you next in line. Other people ignore social distancing so I’m warning them to stay back. Wife goes shopping but she’s not high risk, so she’s in the mix so to speak. Hard to self isolate when no one else gives a damn.

ChickenHead

No one gives a damn because there is nothing to give a damn about.

Your first clue is that the politicians demanding masks and life-destroying lockdowns don’t follow their own lockdowns… nor, once they think the camera is off, do they follow their own mask demands.

Then they have no problems with crowds of BLM/Antifa burning and looting… and presumably engaging in all sorts of high-risk social non-distancing…

…and they have no problem with all this… because there is no problem with all this.

It’s all a scam and you are the sucker.

But if you truly worry about being in the high-risk group and feel more comfortable in as close to a zero-defect world as you can get (which is a good goal… and why I wear a seat belt, avoid strange snakes, and wash my hands after pooping)…

…then STOP PUSHING YOUR PERAONAL RESPONSIBILITY OFF ON EVERYONE ELSE for a situation where you have complete control to master your fear.

Go and spend 50 bucks on a true industrial filter and full face mask that will keep you fully safe and isolated in a way the placebo of two incorrectly-worn surgical masks between you and Chinkpox Mary will not.

Lean to don and doff it correctly and go confidently in public, in handing-out-blankets-to-indians-grade-protection, without pushing your problems and insecurities onto the public that has enough of their own.

The But Society Needs To Do Things For Me That I Can Easily Do For Myself mindset is wearing thin… and a key characteristic to look for in a person when determining if they need invited to the team or thrown from a helicopter.

At present I know two people who have died since the covid restrictions/lockdowns. Not from covid, but from conditions related to the lockdown itself.

setnaffa

I have no personal knowledge of anyone who has died from COVID-19.

I have friends and coworkers who claim they lost a friend or relative who was already deathly ill; but the John Hopkins report that was censored a week a go stated that the Wuhan Death Pox made no measurable difference in annual deaths.

And so far this year no one has died of old age, influenza, or other formerly popular causes.

The NY Times published a list of 1,000 COVID deaths on their front page that included at least four people who died from gunshot wounds.

René Descartes is usually blamed for saying (or writing), “Cogito ergo sum.” And cogito sez it’s a scam.

YMMV. Not valid in all 50 states. Void where taxed or prohibited by law. Do what you need to do to keep yourself and your loved ones safe. But leave the rest of us to do the same.

Read a few days ago that more people died of suicide in the past month in Japan than the last year of covid. That is the real underlying tragedy of lockdowns. Untreated and/or aggravated mental illness/depression. My spouse flew with a person involved in the airline’s suicide hotline. He said it has never been busier. Our insurance offers therapeutic counseling for people experiencing depression and/or mental health issues. Appointments are backed up until almost March now.

I have an agenda. My wife has a sewing shop. The only thing that kept her going during the lockdown was her mask production and sales, triple layer with a filter pouch. Use your own filter or a quality one that comes with the mask. I have known a few people who got the virus, a Soldier told me he, his wife, and child got the virus, she was very sick, he said, “You don’t want to get the virus.” Enough of a red flag for me.

3900+ people died in vehicle accidents in Korea last year but i still drive everyday. Get out and live life and stop cowering behind a mask. 80÷% of so called covid deaths in Korea have been people over 70 and most of those over 80; we all will die of something but live while you are alive.

I LOVE masks.

Apart from the repressive Islamic-style stigma that taints them, I enjoy:

– fùck the Security State and their facial recognition software… though one could suspect the leftist scolding over masks coincides with the leftist pushing of criminality and terrorism… where the lack of identification is a feature and not a bug.

– I am happy not to wear everyone’s Ps and Ss.

– my masks are fashion statements… as it is all theater anyway… nobody wears their mask correctly and they do nothing anyway… take a hit on a vape and exhale through your mask… watch where and how your Chinkpox diffuses. So, I use it as a fashion accessory… the first fresh fashion trend in 20+ years.

Bonus Thought:

Back in the day, when the Chinese were in a panic, it was prudent to treat Chinkpox seriously. It was clear that masks were not being worn or removed correctly and had questionable effectiveness.

I bought a number of different styles of professional masks and filters which were actually designed to protect in this situation.

But now we know it is all a scam.

So I keep that stuff new in the box… so when the ruling elite finishes learning how it spreads and how to protect themselves with this test virus… and they release the REAL virus, I will be ready.

Next, I am buying a matching tinfoil hat.

…or will I?

I hate masks! Those stupid tokens of control the Army made me lug around for years. I hate masks! Get off the Tank have your mask with you. STUPID!
I hate masks! In Basic Training they created a torture device out of them. Then I drooled and snotted all over the place when they made me take it off. I even cried. “Masks don’t work”, I screamed!
I hate masks! That awkward load of sh*t I had banging against my leg as I walked or ran.
I hate masks! That POS I had with me 24/7 in Desert Storm.
I hate masks! For making me and my unit search for hours when someone lost one.
I hate masks! I had to clean and maintain them.
I hate masks! I had to shoot a gun wearing one. That sucked, WHY?
I hate masks! I had to shoot a Tank wearing one. WHY?
I hate masks! I had to do ignorant PT in them and MOPP 4, what’s the point, that stuff doesn’t work.
I hate masks! I had to put one on, seal it and clear it in a certain time.

I hate masks! But I got paid to wear them, it was ok.

I wear a mask every day! But you can’t see it. (Pink Floyd)

I hate masks because people tell me “MASKS DON”T WORK!”, Ok I just want to get along and fit in with the sheeple. Open the doors and see the sheeple.

Sure if you want to wear an M17 pro mask…that will work; some cheap piece of cloth made in a chinese sweat shop will do nothing. You are a fool if you think differently. Better start watching Computing Forever channel on you tube. Tune you right up to the truth and you will see you are being trick F’cked by the globalist ruling elite. While you are at it look up the Fabian Society. You are being played and falling right in line.

Are you protecting your eyes? The virus can enter your body more easily there.

What type of mask are you wearing? Is it sealed vs outside air? How about your house and car?

Don’t fall for the flummery.

Tanker, all I am saying is it’s a virus. You can’t block it woth 100% certainty. So just make plans with your doctor for what to do “in the event”…

And we all have stories about how sinful we were in the past. The Good News (i.e., the Gospel) is that “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Not always from physical death. Our earthsuits have an expiration date. But there is a second death. And we can be saved from that by just believing and trusting God is not a liar.

Just be careful not to lick door handles, trust God, follow your doctor’s advice, and stop worrying. Worry just gives us wrinkles and ulcers.

Maybe the difference is in the availability of necessary medications in GOP- vs. Democrat-controlled states?
