Don’t worry.

Bezos will be dead before the first snowfall.

That is a hot stock tip from the Psychic Friends’ Network.

For only $3.99 a minute, I will tell you the details.

A couple of difficulties are outsourcing (Chinese also outsource now) and some components might be made in China, the rest elsewhere. For example a while back I had a Bosch refrigerator that broke. It’s not a Chinese brand but the small component that failed was made in China.
At any rate, it would still be nice to see this. It’s a start.

This won’t happen. Back in the day several efforts were launched to include a filtering option on eBay to exclude sellers from China. All efforts had enormous community backing and all were completely shot down. The community was fed up with cheap quality items but the fact that eBay gets a cut of all sales and that the majority of sellers were shifting heavily towards China meant that they were never going to reduce their amount of cuts from sales.

Amazon is the new Bay, they won’t do anything that lowers that China Siphon they have going.

Keep dreaming about banning Chinese products.

It’s a choice between that and civilization.

India can’t get their act together, Vietnam is too small, and the west has allowed crony capitalism via government overregulation to get so out of hand “free” enterprise can’t solve the problem…

…unless it is truly free.
